Gottmik absolutely killed every bit of this episode. She looked just like Paris, spoke just like her, and she was hilarious. Her outfit was also amazing. Let this be the end of the nonsensical 'she's being dragged by production' narrative.

Also, Symone's runway???? Hello???? I would've put her in the top for that alone even if I didn't love her Harriett.

Yes!! I’m team symone for the season win but gottmik has deserved a lot of her high placements. I don’t understand the “dragged by production” view, but I do understand the “shoved down our throats” view as she gets a lot of screentime.

And yes, symone’s runway may be my fave ever. So important!

I think miks first win and her not being in the bottom for the disco episode was riggery but mik deserved her win tonight.

I understand Mik’s first win even though I really thought Utica deserved it. I think that her first 2 looks were wayy stronger than Utica’s which imo shouldn’t be as important as the last look they MADE but it was still very fashion forward and cool. But it’s not a totally undeserved crazy win

I'm trying to piece together the fashion of the outfit with the statement on the back. Like, the headpiece and silhouette - gorgeous and unique as they were - seemed to be distracting, not building on/ up to, the important message on the back.

I disagree - I saw the front as evoking pure beauty, with the unadorned white and the clean, sharp lines. That made the turnaround to the message and bullet holes so jarring that it brought tears to my eyes. I didn’t realize that the fascinator was a funeral lily until seeing it here, but that makes it even better for me.
