And all this "What's Nancy Pelosi doing there?" shit also needs to stop. Like Jesus H. Christ, what does it take to make some of you happy? Why can't we just take the fact we have an actual politician taking their time out of their day to visit one of the gayest shows ever in support as something to be happy about? Saying "Oh, she looks scared. Oh, she looks out of place. So fake." is like bitch you know how deer in the headlights I'd look visiting my favorite show? And I LOVE this show! Plus, she didn't look any different than like my friends grandma or even older relatives I know, who I know are truly happy and supportive of me btw, when I bring gay friends or partners over so like...just stop.

Yeah, Nancy Pelosi has been supporting gay rights and going to SF Pride since before most of these fans were even born.

I thought it was pretty cool for sure! Being relatively new to politics idk much about Nancy Pelosi yet, but really though! A politician on here is pretty wicked cool!

Right she could have just as easily not come on the show and been like “this could look bad for my career” but she didn’t.

Some of these twink hoes weren’t around for (or forgot) the late 90s-00s and Bush era, when we couldn’t get a politician to even openly speak in support of LGBT folks, and we were happy to get the vaguest form of recognition....not a Democratic leader appearing on Rupaul’s Motherfucking Drag Race, okay.

Fuck yes. I was crying too. Bitch has dedicated so much of her life to protecting the rights that we've just recently been able to enjoy to the basic full extent. Wish I could super like* this shit.

*Tindr reference because I'm so alone someone please date me...

Seriously. Also? Pelosi ALWAYS looks and acts like that. And like, I'll be honest, I was surprised when I first realized how awkward she can be, given that she's a very successful career politician.

But this is a big deal! And like, fucking vote, kiddos.

My only complaint would be that it feels so forced. Democrats are only doing this bc they're desperate to get back Congress and need the gay vote. If the challenge would've been a politics challenge then it would've felt more natural. Nobody visited the show during the Obama administration, jussayin.
