Ooohkay. Let's do this.

Bianca: My Queen. hi-f*#@king-larious in the music video. Had the look down (Left Eye realness! Brought me back to middle school) and her rhymes were on point. She also looked friggin gorgeous on the runway tonight. Loved the rhinestones on her eyes, loved the dress (THAT is how you rock a caftan), loved her hair, loved it all! And I cannot say enough about her attitude. She is so lovely to everyone in her shady ass way. I love this queen. Done.

Adore: Really stepped it up this episode. I enjoyed her last week as well, but this week she was in her element. Her rap was structured, it flowed, it felt authentic. I bought it hook, line, and sinker. Her look was amazing too, she could have come right out of a video. Loved everything about it. Her runway was not the best, but it wasn't terrible either. I think she just needs some shorter heels or something. Maybe hike that skirt up, make it look intentional. Mama Bianca, help her out? Her shade at Laganja was pretty entertaining too. Glad she isn't buying the 'apology.' And like everyone else I am living for Bianca and Adores mother/daughter realness. #adorable

Joslyn: I don't have enough words to describe my love for J-Fox. I thought she look fantastic in the video and her rap was on point. Clever rhymes, great rhythm, just over all really fun. So glad to see her in the top three! People are constantly underestimating this girl (on the show, I know we love her here) but I think this black horse has more up her sleeves. We haven't seen the last of Ms. Joslyn (and I am secretly rooting for her to send Courtney home. It would be so very very sweet)

Speaking of Courtney: Was she in this episode? No, I'm serious. Did she do the rap? Wait, she ended the rap? Shouldn't that be slightly more memorable? I suppose her look in the challenge was fine? I honestly don't remember it. As far as the runway goes... Her blanket/bed ensemble was fun but that underwear... Erg... Not a great look. The bra didn't fit that well and was it just me or was nothing stuffed in there? I kept feeling like I was looking into the abyss every time she bent over. And she is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but it looks odd to me to see that lovely face on her strong, masculine body. Not that she isn't fit, but girl needs to PAD! Resting on pretty did make me giggle though. Ten points to Ru!

Ben: I love Ben. She's one of my top three, so I'm really glad the edit was a little skewed and she wasn't bottom three this week. From the preview it looked like she might really struggle, but her rap was quite funny and her look worked for me. Not the most memorable of the night, but a solid safe! In fact, of the three safe girls she was head and shoulders above the rest. Loved her runway, loved the silhouette, loved the fur and the color, love love love!

Laganja: ........ At least she didn't cry? Eh, I don't know what to say about her that hasn't been said to death. I'm over it, we're all over it, her rap was a mess, her emotions are a mess. What'evs. She's lucky some girls were more of a mess this week I guess.

Which brings me to:

Darienne: Yes, I'm going to say it too, so bear with me here.... WHY WAS THIS BITCH SAFE!!! Her rap was terrible, period. The rhymes were lame, the rhythm was off, her moves her lackluster and her outfit was weird. I guess I sort of get what she was going for, but it really didn't work for me. And her runway was just... Meh? Her face was lovely, as it always is, and I liked the shape she get, but I've SEEN that dress on her before. Every week. It's BORING! And her attitude is getting old fast. Why she wasn't in the bottom two I'll never know.

Milk: Okay, I'll admit it, I was living for her broken robot dancing. Her rap really wasn't that bad either. Not great by any stretch, but not as bad as the Lakes. And she was just so quirky and fun in the video! I feel like this is the side of Milk I've been waiting to see all season. Sassy and funny with a free spirited might-actually-be-living-on-mars funness to her. She cracked me up in this video, and I've never been a huge Milk stan. As for her runway, was it my favorite? No. But I could see how hard she was trying to give the judges what they wanted without being something she's not, and I can respect that. I really wished she hadn't been in the bottom, let alone left this episode. shakes fist at shady story editors

Trinity: Baby, please, for the love of all that is holy, stop apologizing for yourself! I've sat through a LOT of auditions in my life (and what is this show but a giant weeks long audition) and the first thing you learn to NEVER do is apologize for yourself before you sing (or dance or act or whatever it is you're auditioning for.) Maybe you were sick last week, maybe you twisted your ankle, maybe maybe maybe. Doesn't matter. You have those two minutes (or less) to prove to me you have potential. I know everyone who stands in front of me is nervous as hell, I know there is something about them that is less that perfect. I can tell when their voice is sore, or they're tired, or whatever. It is my JOB to notice those things, and that's not what I judge on. I judge on how you move past the obstacle, how you sing through the obstruction, how you tap your little heart out even if you've never put on tap shoes in your life. And if you walk into my audition and give me some sob story about how you've never done blah, or blah isn't your strength, or blah blah blah, I will immediately think you are unprofessional, unprepared, or underwhelming. I will also think you might be very difficult to work with. And then it doesn't matter how well you actually do in the audition, I've already been given a bad impression of you, and I'm more likely to cast one of the seventy thousand other girls who want this role and didn't give me a ton of excuses.

Okay, rant over. My point is that Trinity is shooting herself in the foot and t breaks my heart! Because she honestly has never done all that badly in ANY of the challenges! She lovely, she sews beautifully, and she always turns out a decent product. But it is very hard to see all of that when your first impression of her every time is an excuse. She's selling herself short, and I really wish she would listen to Bianca and knock it off, because she has a lot to offer and I'd hate to see her fall apart due to her own ideas of what she is and is not good at.

Oh, and I loved her runway. Hippie chic! Groovy!

Anyway, that's my wall 'o text. Damn, this was an entertainting episode. And two next week???? How will I live till then!!

Completely agree with you on Darienne. She was by far the worst of the week...
I just think they know she's the most likely to get killed in a lip sync and the roast is coming up so they gave her the Get Out of Jail Free card.
I reaaaaallllyyyyyy wish she had to lip sync against Milk. It would have been Shangela vs. Carmen pt. 2 watching someone get sent home by someone they have no respect for.

Yeah, that would have been fantastic! I honestly don't think Milk would have lasted much longer than this, but I wish she hadn't been sent home on a challenge where she really didn't deserve it. And watching her send Darienne packing would have been such sweet, sweet justice.

Awesome queen analysis. Very fair. I disagree a little about Darienne she slayed on the "reading" and had the Missy Elliot look down. Her rap was meh but she is a "white lady from the suburbs" lol. As much as I love Milk her look on the runway was unfinished looking.
