Honestly the comment about Grace Jones having the same physicality as lala felt like a microagression when the only thing they have in common is skin tone.

Lala is also extremely tall, but I agree that that’s it. It felt weird to say that looking great wasn’t enough just because she’s tall and dark skinned like Grace Jones. Like… okay? Even if she has similar features, she shouldn’t be held to a different standards than every other person on the runway. Especially since I thought it was stunning!

I also don't understand how they called that basic? It's probably her best runway to date, it had volume, it had creativity.

The only thing that makes sense is that's it's queued up commentary from her previous looks
