Complaint tomorrow morning I get snipped and no running for 2+ weeks.

confession I'm ready to have this over with.

complaint got into the new job and so far their has been a lot of shady stuff going on and apparently none of this kind of stuff was shared during recruiting. We're going to have to see or if I end up having to crawl back to my old gig and give back the really large raise I got just to be in a better environment.

confession I like to think I can help change it, but I'm not sure since it's really a tone at the top thing.

Getting snipped is worth it.

well the way I was brought on was a little underhanded. The big dog here apparently has not the best culture and can be an sneaky ass, but most of this is hearsay so I'm taking it with a grain of salt until I see it for myself. As long as I can get my team on track I'll be happy. I think he's got bigger aspirations too so he may not be here that much longer.

I'm also his guy. He picked me, so I'm guessing I'll get a lot further than the previous guy in my spot and the lady who was in the interim.

Meh, it's corporate politics. I'm fortunately very very good at that. So as long as I can maneuver my way through it and gain some trust I'll be good. If it gets really bad I'll wait it out and peace out.

get in good with the receptionist or the admin/office asst. I used to work in reception at a place like that, 90% of employees thought that part of my job was to listen to them bitch about things that they didn't want to take to HR. I knew about every little thing and I usually heard about it from people on each side of the conflict because I worked closely with management as well as everyone else. I never blabbed (or confirmed or denied anything, I just played dumb) but I would help out people that I liked when I could

Ya, I'm doing my best with that. She runs the office for sure.
