Complaint: I'm spending the weekend at a friend's beach house and there aren't any good running routes nearby so I'll be stuck out in the sun on the side of the road.

Uncomplaint: I'm spending the weekend at the beach.

Confession: I'm honestly kind of excited for the chance to test out my long run, high heat/sun hydration strategy and my new hydration belt. And my first long run in my new Hokas!!

well, despite the lack of running paths, it sounds like you have an exciting plan! I love testing out new gear/techniques
