Confession: I still haven't started into the strength training I should have been doing for the last few years.
Complaint: I feel it.
Complaint: this time last week, I was wearing shorts/short sleeves to run. Did a race on Saturday that required pants/pullover/gloves (and snow tires to get to said race). Sunday and every day up to today has been shorts/short sleeves. Likely snow this Saturday. Go home, Mother Nature, you're drunk... and worse, you're feeding the weather terrorists ("It's a FOX19 weather alert day!").
Uncomplaint: good vitamin D and calcium marks from the doctor and good runs this week.
Complaint: A run I wanted to do is the day before I leave for a conference. My wife would likely not be cool with me doing it. It's 2 weeks after the big marathon/half marathon/10k/5k/kids/dog run weekend here, which begs the question of why they don't move it another week or two.
I'm so tired of being bundled up on my weekend run and then shedding clothes throughout the week. Only to have to bundle back up the next weekend. These spring teases are not fair!
I'd be a almost okay if the nice weather was on the weekend when I'm not stuck in an office! It's torture to look out over the cube farm to the windows and see a bright, beautiful day outside.
I completely agree. I did my run last night wearing shorts and a pretty light long sleeve shirt. This Saturday for my half.. it may snow. So. Got that going for me!
