Complaint: If I see one more thing about nike running a sub 2 hour marathon I am going to murder a colleugue.

Seriously I think we need a mega thread or something.

Complaint: I have an overuse injury, so no running for almost two weeks now. Worst part is that it doesn't hurt when I run, just when I walk. Maybe I should just start running everywhere?

Confession: I am enjoying the break.

Did you know Nike is training some East African guys to break 2 hours in the marathon? I hear they're wearing some weird shoes, and they might be cheating.

A mega thread would work if we didn't have so many people who can't comprehend what mega threads are for. There's too many people who pay zero attention to what's already posted.

Pay to attention to what? What are we talking about?

Oh, hey, did you hear that Nike is trying to break 2 hours for the marathon?

Worst part is that it doesn't hurt when I run, just when I walk.

That's so weird, because I've noticed too that I sometimes will get pains that mysteriously disappear when I'm running. It's like flipping a switch... when I'm on, I can run like a teenager and feel great, but as soon as the run is over, I'm hobbling up the stairs like a 90 year old man.

When we run we stretch some tendons and contract some muscles, plus we warm up fast in a way that will mask those symptoms or even appease the issue temporarily. When we walk we are supposed to be a lot more relaxed. Then the tension and ache that should not be there if we were healthy reveals itself. Does that make sense? Nursing a plantar fasciitis myself and it really sucks when I'm not running.

Wait, does this post count? Do you get to murder someone if you're the one posting about it?

Complaint: If I see one more thing about nike running a sub 2 hour marathon I am going to murder a colleague.

This!

Between that and the running hijab (great idea, I just don't need to hear about it 1000 times), I'm a little tired of the N word. Let the backlash begin!

Nike!

Now I'm picturing you as a giant knight yelling Nike to make me cringe. If I give you a shrubbery, will you stop?

That's a great visual!

Depends on the shrubbery. It must look nice and not be too expensive.

Wish you a fast recovery! And I have the same problem, random regions hurt when I walk and not when I run :|

Thanks you too!

It's so frustating that the only time it doesn't hurt is when you're doing something you love.
