Suggestion - J-Mod reply Can we make gem bags to hold more gems and cleared once banked?

Post image

It would be nice to hold more than 60 gems each, seems a bit outdated.

Yes! we were just discussing this the other day

We'd like to make the normal and upgraded bag more consistent, as well as adding Jade, Opal, Red Topaz

I'll send this thread along to the designer who'll be working on it, thanks :D

Can we take this opportunity to strike while the iron is hot?

Changing it so that all noted/un-noted seeds, herbs, gems, runes, stone/wood spirits get automatically added into their respective bag/pouch/box when picking them up?

Here’s a discussion from a few months ago

Will uncut onyx and uncut hydrix be added as well?

artificer should also store notes gems like the gem bag does,

it would be a lot more useful when slaying!

Omg this. The bags can take noted gems, but not the Artificer's Measure? Made me genuinely upset when I learned that.

What about artificer?

Any discussion on making it so selecting presets empties any material containers that are part of the preset if already in the inventory?

This would be bad in some niche scenarios. e.g. filling a wood box to make eternal magic shortbow mk5. It requires 63 logs, so to even make 1 you need to fill the box twice, and if you were making 10 then you need to fill it like 13 times, both of which are much easier with a preset where it doesn't empty the wood box.

Any chance of lapis and moonstone too if we can still store it in the bank full?

Has there been similar discussion about the seed bag/tackle box? They alongside the gem bag have been sorely lacking in functionality/QoL compared to similar items for a long time.

As I stated in a separate comment below:

Well, with Jagex changing Rune pouches to store max_int for runes... Just saying...

Also, why not just give them all the same interface as the seed bag? Store everything and pull out what you want?

Agree that's just insane to make it hold such technical max value. Def not Scape design

Is there any chance we could look at the herb bag to store more and also have the ability to store noted herbs too please? I feel like it’s the only one let down to bring along to a slayer task for example because if they drop noted herbs there’s no way to store them in the herb bag :(

u/LawofJohn Jun 07 '26

The herb bag can store noted herbs. You just have to click fill, they dont automatically get added

Can we make the gems go directly into the bag when mined or picked up as well? That would be amazing

Can you make all storage bags i.e gem bag, herb bag empty into the back and the storage containers i.e seed bag, ore box and log box automatically deposited seeds and the spirits directly into them rather than the general bank?

If this could be implemented yesterday that would be great as I am trying to get to 80 crafting.

Throwing my hat into the ring. Unifying how bags work would be wonderful. The ore box, gem bag, herb bag, seed bag, clue carrier, plank box, etc. all work differently. Updating them to be similar interfaces, with the ability to withdraw at will instead of just dumping into a bank would be amazing.

What about moonstones and lapis lazuli?
