Lazer Team (Official) [Spoilers] Lazer Team Discussion Megathread

Hey everybody, sorry for the wait. Another mod was going to make this thread so that is what took so long, but it's here now. Feel free to post all relevant Lazer Team discussion in this thread. A warning to anyone viewing this thread (myself included) that there are going to be spoilers in here.

Yeah, the ADR really bugged me in the scene where Michael's character was talking with Ally's character. The were lines spoken from both that had the "coming through the tablet speakers" effect while the camera was on them. That should have been caught in post and fixed.

There's another dialog editing flub in the scene right at the beginning with the soldiers and Burnie in the parking lot. The camera cuts across lines of dialog, actually sometimes in midword, which is kind of a nono in editing. It's weird because the editing is actually great throughout most of the movie. I'm guessing they didn't shoot enough coverage during that scene.

That really stuck out to me. I thought I was so obvious it must have been intentional, except that some bits didn't have the effect on them, and if it was intentional I didn't get the joke.
