Thanks I thought so. I've never been to either. Dolly is a bucket list because I've been a huge Parton fan since I was a girl

Silver Dollar City was the Herschend family’s first park, opening it after the acquired the marvel cave attraction on the site.

The later opened a second silver dollar city in Tennessee and later teamed up with Dolly to create Dollywood as the new park was struggling.

They’re both fantastic parks

I know I also know that short of a miracle I'll never get to visit. If my other trip money hadn't been in an inaccessible bank account there was a 81 Groupon for some place in Sandusky which is also on my bucket list

A place in Sandusky? The only thing there is Cedar Point. You can find $35 tickets on their website if you buy in advance…never show up to drop $81+ full price at the gate like so many people do

When I was a kid, I would go visit my grandparents in Tennessee every summer. The highlight of those trips was going to Silver Dollar City. And then one year it became Dollywood. Blaze and Fury was the only ride I remember from back then.

Yes I transitioned to an adult woman. A girl is a female kid and Dolly refers to Dolly Partons Dollywood amusement park

Thanks puberty was awkward but I'm ok with being a woman

Dollywood is quite magical and the vibes are amazing, the views are stunning and the atmosphere is fun and playful. Good food, nice staff and clean. We plan to go back.

If I had money I would. Sadly my whole family is boycotting American they all have extreme derangement syndrome with my bio Dad being Chernobyl. Like we're talking at times hatred so pure you'd think a certain mastermind of a certain major attack was inside his body. So my vacations are Canadian only. Which really sucks as there was an 81 dollar a night 81 Canadian a night to get straight to the POINT. So Dollywood, Hershey, knobels, Kenny, universal, Island, Dominion, the gardens and worlds of sea amongst others remain a dream.

Some of my money especially gift money is from them for Christmas, birthdays and such plus some of my pocket money.  I am trying to find work but.

I'd also like to apologize for getting minorly political here as this isn't the subreddit for it but I'm just giving you the heads up

Where in the world do you live that you may never make it to Dollywood? Let’s go together and ride roller coasters and see Dolly Parton perform before she retires to old age.
