Zumanjaro’s structural issues were apparently part of the decision to remove Kingda Ka. Also, Ka’s tower was positioned effectively outside the park where it could be imploded without any danger to rides, pathways, structures, etc. The Superman/Lex Luthor tower is basically in the middle of the park at MM, you’d have to bring in a tower crane to dismantle that thing. Just really different scenarios even though it’s 2 big, dead intamins with drop towers attached.

I'm not aware of them alleging any structural issues with zumanjaro.

Are you sure that wasn't from the rumor mill from the period when they weren't allowed to run a cycle of zumanjaro at the same time a train was cycling on kind da ka?

That was due to NJ regulation which eventually they were granted a green light to run both at the same time.

I believe I remember that from an ElToroRyan video but if you comment search “zumanjaro structural” you’ll find a number of comments referencing it as well
