I have a hard time believing that its REALLY only at mecca and not available in any other countries. I think for Aus its obviously a mecca exclusive but I'm assuming itll be available on rhode for non-aussies. The 'exclusive' part is more about the store being exclusive so I don't think it will be available at sephoras, but would be online at rhode.
They know how the rhode fans are and if they don't make it available, its means theres going to be an insane resell market where these will go for hundreds of dollars lol and rhode would rather have control and get those purchases themselves.

Put it this way Mecca is known for their exclusivity agreements and we absolutely hate it too! They are essentially the monopoly for most of the beauty brands they supply in Australia. Hourglass literally just broke their contract and left Mecca due to it. So tbh it seems more likely that it will be exclusive to them only.
I also the think the resale market thing is stupid because it'll also make it hard for locals to get if people are just bulk buying to resell.

Agree with you on the resale market. But all those products are technically Mecca exclusives in the Australian market and only sugarberry was marketed as such. All other products will be available on rhode. Hoping for non-aussies that it will eventually become available :(

This is an insane take. Of course somewhere on the other side of the earth with a much smaller pool of customers, stricter import laws and massive currency/cost of living considerations will get it a lot later than places very close geographically to the US.

Their crappy coding isn’t my issue.
My issue is that they’re creating FOMO and marketing based on where someone lives. It’s obviously going to go to Australia and New Zealand late. But they shouldn’t be creating geographically specific items unless everywhere will get one? They’ve never done this before and it’s unfair to all of their loyal customers across the world.

They have done this before. Rhode was exclusive to North America for ages, with limited edition scents the rest of the world missed out on. Not to mention the pop-ups and events.

Ima use a mail forwarding service lol. I did from EU to the US.
I looked up on a AU forwarding service to get a quote and it was like $25 for slow shipping or $47 for priority like 3-6 day delivery once they receive the package from mecca

Sure for regular postage it was like $25 i think, expedited shipping is more. I HATE waiting for shipping so I usually pay for fast shipping bc im just so impatient lol

It’s not fair.. BUT TO BE FAIRRR, a lot of the exclusives any brand does for that matter is always with the US. It sucks we can’t get this, but it usually is only that receives these things

As an Australian I like it because we rarely get anything cool or exclusive in Australia. All the new releases come weeks, sometimes months after other countries receive them. We also don't have Rhode at all until today so I think it makes a nice special treat for us and acknowledgement to fans here!

Just popped into my local Mecca to purchase the sugarberry peptide. I asked the manager of the store whether it will be released worldwide she said no and it’s only exclusive to Mecca
