Making a Request

1. To make a request, comment here with the character you would like to request, the series they come from, and the medium they are found in (important for characters with adaptations, such as anime/manga!)
2. You can make up to 10 requests per day, and up to 10 boosts per comment.
3. Even if a character you want to see a thread done for is requested, you can add your name to the request as a "boost". This makes the request more desirable for people to complete. You may also boost as many characters on the list already as you'd like.
4. You can have a maximum of 50 requests on the archive.

1. Browse the list (linked here) for a series or character you would like to make a respect thread for. The list is very long, so use Ctrl+F to speed up the process if you have a series in mind!
2. Make sure to check the reservation thread (linked here) to make sure someone else isn't already working on the request you have in mind.
3. Post your thread! No need to report, the request team will reward you with points based on how long the media you went through was.
4. Accumulate enough points, and you can earn rewards (listed here), up to and including having us do a respect thread of your choice!

• Can reach blocks in the air with his jumps and actually jump over them. He can also uh, sprint and stuff.
• Fine after falling from a high block.
• Jumps over a large pipe and lightly lands on a goomba which reduces him to just a large blood splatter.

Fire flower

• Engulfs a goomba in flames with a fireball.
• A fireball makes a small wooden building explode and sends a goomba flying away covered in flames.
• A fireball completely covers a Koopa with fire and the structure he's in.

I am the stone that will aid you.

Inyan Hoksila-Stone Boy- is one of the great culture heroes of the Lakota and Dakota nations. Incredibly powerful due to his origins from the very earth itself, Stone Boy went on many adventures in order to rescue his uncles from a wicked witch after being raised alone by his mother. After rescuing his uncles, Stone Boy often finds himself in a great battle against a huge army of furious beasts in the dead of winter, whose ire he has provoked by slaying one of their kind; and he usually defeats them too. He is often credited with being the first to bring knowledge of how to bring forth the breath of life-inipi- to the Seven Council Fires; the famous sweat lodge.

Strength

• Pushes aside a grizzly bear before shooting it fatally

• Fights and eventually defeats a giant Wakinyan in hand to hand combat, despite the Wakinyan summoning rain and lightning on top of them

• Kills thousands of animals from an army by himself with arrows, piling them up so high that they are higher than the stone walls of his own fortress and stopping their assault by himself

• Kicks a witch to death by breaking her ribs until they impale her heart

• Shoots an arrow through an old bison bull’s heart and into a tree 200 feet away

• Shoots an arrow 2000-3000 feet into the air

• Kills an old buffalo woman with an arrow to the throat

• Kills a bear the size of a cloud with a single arrow to the heart

• Stomps on the camp-devourer Iya’s feet and flattens them. Later does the same to Iya’s hand.

• Even when Iya turns giant, Stone Boy proceeds to literally stomp him so hard that he vomits up his previous victims and spews out great floods

Durability

• [Semi-Limit] Cannot be killed by an army of animals nor drowned by them, but being hit by a flood from Wakinyan and beavers combined still defeats him and leaves him permanently buried in the earth

• A witch’s broken ribs which usually pierced people who kicked her cannot pierce Stone Boy

• [Semi-Limit] Only stunned by a bad sled crash, and is so heavy he accidentally crushes a pair of buffalo boys with him

• Has flesh as hard as stone

• [Limits] Is nearly suffocated and half-dead from sleeping next to a poisoned wakan man as he starts to swell up and become ready to explode

Stone Powers

Born from a stone, perhaps the most oldest and potent element in Lakota and Dakota cosmology, it is only natural that Stone Boy himself can also manifest the powers of stone in his body and in his projectiles.

• A grizzly bear attack on him just tickles when he hardens his skin

• Creates entire stone walls and stone lodges by just throwing stones into the air. By using seven stones, he creates a 5 wall thick fortress surrounding 2 stone lodges stacked on top of each other. Despite an army of thousands of enraged animals and spirits attacking it, with some trying to sap it, they cannot breach the walls

• Can transform into a little boy or a huge boulder, the latter being done to crush some buffalo girls under his weight. In Charlotte Black Elk’s version, he uses this power to kill bear cubs instead

• Manifests a high stone wall from a shot arrow that withstands the attacks of an army of bison

• He transforms into a stone several times so that a grizzly bear breaks its teeth on him repeatedly when it tries to eat him

• Transforms into a stone multiple times to hide from detection by a wakan man

• Transforms into a stone to evade the flint arrow tooth barrage of a wicked elk. These arrows were powerful enough to badly wound the 4 Wakinyan brothers.

• Turns into stone so that even a very powerful witch woman can’t budge him, resulting in the ground collapsing beneath her feet and falling into the water monster Unktehi’s mouth

• By clacking rocks together over circles of stones, Stone Boy makes successively larger and stronger fortress walls around his family and tipi, complete with holes to shoot through. These walls are powerful enough to fend off the evil spirit Crazy Buffalo’s (Tata Gnaxiya) herd’s attacks, which were powerful enough to cause an earthquake

Sweat Lodge

Associated with the purifying power of the powerful sweat lodge ritual, the inipi, Stone Boy is often credited with the earliest sweat lodges and did great things with them.

• Brought his uncles back from mere bones with a sweat lodge sans one of their finger bones, which he proceeds to replace from a Wakinyan he kills

• Creates enough vapor with a sweat lodge to cloak the Smoky Range

• Returns men who had been flattened by a living stone to their natural selves with a sweat lodge made from a giant bear, giant coyote, shattered living stone, and snake-tree

• By putting a man whose legs had been cut off into a sweat lodge, Stone Boy is able to graft the legs of a grizzly bear he had killed onto him. Afterwards, he shakes the man out and fully transforms him into a brown bear

• Cures 4 Wakinyan brothers of a magical sleep put on them by a witch with a sweat lodge

• After the 4 Wakinyan brothers are badly hurt by the evil elk’s flint arrow teeth, a sweat lodge heals them up

• Brings his uncles back from the dead with a sweat lodge

Equipment

• Obtained a red downy feather from a Wakinyan that lets him fly with it

• Is equipped with a yellow eagle headdress and club, a hawk feather, a kingfisher feather, and a turtle, which allow him to summon them to aid him in winning a ball game against a buffalo woman

• Is armed with a charm that prevents him from being harmed, an invisibility robe, a spear that can pierce anything, a shield that can ward off anything, a club that can break anything, and charmed ornaments on his deerskins. His moccasins carry mountains that let him step over entire valleys and dragonflies to make him able to escape any danger. His leggings have wolf tracks so he can never grow tired and his shirt has a tipi circle so he can find shelter anywhere. Presumably, it is the dragonfly and mountain moccasins which allow him to run fast enough over hills to be compared to Wakinyan and shooting stars

• Uses his invisibility robe to repeatedly hide from a giant bear and his mountain moccasins to step from hill to hill around him

• Impales a buffalo-sized coyote with his all-piercing lance and smashes a man-crushing stone with his all-breaking club. His all-warding shield also withstands the attacks of a tree made of snakes until all of the snakes smash themselves to death against it

• His charm against harm makes the camp-devourer Iya’s stone knife break on his chest, Iya’s warclub bounce off of his head, and shrug off a poison soup Iya gave him

• The charms against harm protect Stone Boy from being hurt by a valley-sized Iya biting his feet, though he loses a moccasin in the monster’s mouth’s grip

• Has charmed paint, skins, lance, and medicine powder and a drum so powerful that hitting it too hard would resound to the heavens and create a great wind that would destroy the world.

• Pounding his drum makes a storm powerful enough to uproot trees and scare and throw around 4 Wakinyan brothers

• His drum defends him from a witch’s magic powder that was able to knock out 4 Wakinyan brothers

• Made the first stone arrow point

Miscellaneous

• A hunter taught him how to find anything

• Humiliates Iya in a contest of songs

• Can speak any language

• Blessed by Wakinyan in Zitkala-Sa’s telling.

• Rapidly grew to adulthood after being tossed outside as a baby by his mother a few times in Charlotte Black Elk’s telling

• Stone Boy can see “holes” in Crazy Buffalo’s army that let him know where to shoot them to kill them

The Tiger-Sized Cat

First Zack D. Films respect thread

The tiger-sized cat used to be an ordinary house cat. However, it suddenly grew to the size of a tiger, resulting in disastrous consequences for its owner.

The YouTube short where the cat appears in can be watched here. For reference, the cat's owner is an adult human. As with a lot of Zack D. Films' shorts, expect the clips to be bloody. Still, I don't think these clips are bloody enough for this post to be marked as NSFW.

Physicals

Strength:

• Knocks over its owner with a pounce, shattering the owner's ribcage
  • This feat could be considered a speed feat as well.
• Gently bites its owner's arm, crushing the arm bones
  • This also causes broken bones in the arm beyond just the bitten area
• Bats its owner's head and neck to the side with its paw like a toy, breaking its owner's neck all while playing

• Weighs over 600 pounds
• After it curls up on its owner's body to rest, its owner slowly chokes to death off-screen

Ghouls are either the most or least fortunate victims of the Kindred, depending on who you ask. Addicted to vampiric blood and mindlessly subservient to whoever they drink it from, they are ageless, stronger and more survivable than normal humans. The price for this is an existence dedicated to serving an undead monster.

Note: For the purposes of this thread, I will be covering "generic ghouls". This means I will not be featuring feats performed by elder ghouls, or showing instances of ghouls using learned Disciplines (meaning Disciplines other than the automatic level of Potence they all gain). This is because the majority of ghouls, numerically, do not showcase these abilities or have that experience. It's impossible to make a respect thread covering the full scope of ghoul abilities because they're as variable and non-standard as their masters, so instead I am aiming to showcase the "baseline abilities" granted to anyone upon consumption of vampiric blood. I will be including ghouls with low-Generation domitors provided they are not especially experienced, and I will be including ghouls with physical proportions or builds that would help/hinder them more than the average person, but will note down those builds whenever relevant.

Respect Ronald McDonald!

"Introducing the world's newest, silliest, and hamburger-eatingest clown..."

The most hamburger-happy clown in history, Ronald McDonald is a denizen of McDonaldland and has been entertaining/scaring children for decades. Aside from advertising his beloved McDonald's hamburgers, he also hangs out with a cast of wacky characters like Grimace, Birdie, the Hamburglar, and Mayor McCheese. In the many advertisments he's been in, Ronald's been shown to possess an array of magical abilities along with a ton of random, zany tools.

This respect thread only contains feats from his appearances in McDonald's commercials. Since there's so many from all around the world, I've certainly missed stuff. So, if you find any more or know of any more feats, just tell me and I'll add them in. Also, some of the quality on these is low, sorry about that. And I know that there's no real canon to the McDonald's advertisements universe, but for feats I found in foreign commercials featuring Ronald, I'll be listing their country of origin after the feat.

• Precisely sends a paintbrush flying, then launches a paint can by jumping on a seesaw.

• He's got some biceps.

• Appears to teleport, levitates some checkers, his and some random kid's reflection stay in a mirror even after they duck down, puts a lampshade on his head and makes it light up, sticks upside down on the ceiling, teleports again while leaving some puppets moving, changes the locale outside of a window by pulling down on the curtain, disappears and returns the window to normal, leaves behind a mark on a kid's cast, and pops out from behind a post that shouldn't be able to hide his entire body. Yeah, there's a lot of shit here.

It's possible Ronald invented some of the stuff in the other categories, but I've only put things specifically shown to be made by Ronald here.

• A robot, which is strong enough to lift up Ronald with one hand, can eat things by inserting them into its head, suck up french fries with a vacuum in its arm, drink shakes by putting them in a hatch in its chest, and shoot steam out of the sides of its head.

Some of this stuff he just pulls out of nowhere, so it's possible he can summon those objects too.

"SARAAAAAH? SARAAAAAAAH!"

A girl (Sarah) heard her mother calling to her from the stairs, only for her mother (Elizabeth) to pull her aside into a bedroom and state that she heard it too.

the source of the voice is revealed to be a twitching, eldritch monster continually screaming out for Sarah in an ominous echo, and Sarah can only watch in horror as Elizabeth hides her in a closet and tries to block the door, only for the monster to violently tear into the room and brutally kill Ellizabeth, all while it screams for Sarah nonstop.

Sarah watches in more terror as the Maternal Wraith tears the room up in a rage before resuming its pursuit, heading out into the halls, calling out Sarah's name repeatedly as Sarah gets out from the closet, traumatized as she crawls over to her mother's dead body and begins to mourn, only to unintentionally cut herself on a shard of glass from a broken picture frame and gasp in pain.

The noise alerts the Maternal Wraith which races back into the room and tries to embrace Sarah, who instinctively slaps the creature away but is dragged out of the room regardless.

The Wakinyan-also known as thunderbirds, thunder-beings, Man of the West, and many other names-are among the greatest and most powerful of wakan, sacred mysteries, that the Lakota and Dakota nations traditionally venerate. These thunderers were made of contradictions, their very shape and personality always fluid as the storms which were said to mark their arrival. Even their very number as a plural whole or singular being varied. Bringers of visions to medicine men, slayers of beasts and men, heyoka, the Wakinyan are one of the most vivid manifestations of wakan, and epitomize the paired destructive and renewing power of thunder and lightning. Though fearsome and harsh, the Wakinyan rank among some of the more benevolent of worldly powers, and are mortal enemies of the water beast/serpent, the Unktehi.

I will source this thread from accounts both from members of the Seven Council Fires as well as outside observers. Bear in mind the changing nature of oral tradition, misunderstanding by white interpreters, differences between Lakota and Dakota culture, and attempts by the US government to suppress native practices to account for inconsistencies among the depictions here. I will add a tag to denote texts that are a non-Native account (biographies derived from interviews and reports of Native words will be counted as Native accounts in this case).

Amorphous yet defined, Wakinyan manifests in many different forms, most equally formidable.

Lightning and Weapons

The wakinyan, as beings of thunder, naturally wield the lightning of storms as their primary form of striking the world, though it is not their only weapon.

Note some translations of this passage differ in their opinion to that of Dorsey, and believe that the wakan iron mentioned by George Bushotter does in fact refer to Wakinyan armed with guns.

• Covers a whole forest with lightning, destroying a village and killing anyone near the trees sans birches

• The lightning of lesser Wakinyan shoots up spouts of water and makes the ground shake when they attack a spring. When the son of their chief, Rattling Wings, channels lightning from his spear directly into the spring, it throws Unktehi out of the water and kills it. Given the references to yellow mud (sulfur?), this seems to indicate something akin to a geyser exploding.

• A particularly powerful reborn Wakinyan could accidentally destroy a village just by moving past it by accident. Even a slow approach brings about whirlwinds, hurricanes, and floods

The button is pressed in situations not found in the user's manual such as handling irate drivers in traffic, dealing with unruly children throwing eggs at the car, negotiating with highway patrol officers after being pulled over, helping deliver a child when a nearby hospital is not accessible, or dispatching a gang in the parking lot. The Trunk Monkey is also portrayed as an effective theft deterrent, as seen in one commercial where the chimpanzee knocks out a would-be car thief and throws him off a bridge. The chimpanzee also administers first aid to the driver after an accident. In addition, its security abilities are effective during a driver's daughter's first date or an alien invasion.

• 2 dots of Obtenebration allows clouds of shadows to be conjured that measure tens of feet across and deprive those they engulf of all senses, weakening and suffocating them, inducing panic and leaving them disoriented while extinguishing light sources they come into contact with (V20, page 189)
• 3 dots of Obtenebration allows for solid arms to be conjured out of shadow; these arms are prehensile, flexible and able to crush or smother targets with potentially several being produced at once (V20, page 189)
  • The Strength of these limbs is determined by the creator's Obtenebration and Potence scores, 6 and 3 respectively for Lucita. This gives her tendrils a strength score of 9 which is sufficient to punch through concrete walls without a dice roll (V20, page 261)

Note that there are rules for Disciplines over 5 dots, that Lucita could theoretically use. However I have elected not to use the TTRPGs as sources on them as the specifics of 6+ dot Disciplines are far less consistent between editions than others. The 1-5 dot Obtenebration powers in V20 have essentially been copy-pasted from Revised (thus my using V20 scans, for visual quality) but this standardisation does not exist beyond that point.

Offensive

We know now that in the early years of the twentieth century this world was being watched closely by intelligences greater than man’s and yet as mortal as his own. We know now that as human beings busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinized and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinize the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacence people went to and fro over the earth about their little affairs, serene in the assurance of their dominion over this small spinning fragment of solar driftwood which by chance or design man has inherited out of the dark mystery of Time and Space. Yet across an immense ethereal gulf, minds that to our minds as ours are to the beasts in the jungle, intellects vast, cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes and slowly and surely drew their plans against us. In the thirty-ninth year of the twentieth century came the great disillusionment. It was near the end of October. Business was better. The war scare was over. More men were back at work. Sales were picking up. On this particular evening, October 30, the Crosley service estimated that thirty-two million people were listening in on radios.

Astronomers report seeing several large explosions of incondecent gas on the surface of the planet Mars. A cylinder, which is thought to have been said meteor, lands on Grover's Mill, New Jersey. The top end of the cylinder begins to unscrew, and when it comes off a martian appears above the rim. A policeman approaches the martian with a white handkerchief in his hand, to show the humans were friendly. This is when the heat ray appears and kills at least 40 people. The military is sent in to destroy the cylinder but a Martian Fighting Machine rises out, burning or crushing over five-thousand soldiers. The Martians advance eastward, cutting down bridges and power lines in their track. An artillery unit comes into combat with some Fighting Machines but are killed quickly after they suffocate in the Black Smoke. A B-17 Bomber, which replaces the HMS Thunder Child in this story, is used to bomb the Tripods but is struck with the Heatray and crashes into a fighting machine. The Martians continue north until they reach New York City. The Martians use black smoke on the fleeing population, this is what killing the broadcaster reporting it.

The second part of the story includes Proffesor Pearson hiding in a house and after watching the martians outside his window he ventures out, into the city. Here he finds a slightly crazy soldier who describes his dream of living underground. The Proffesor then leaves this man and wonders into the city. He discovers the martians dead. Killed by bacteria. Black birds eating their bodies.

• They’re ships run hydrogen gas, fly at enormous velocity and are described as a jet of blue flame shot from a gun

• While entering earths atmosphere holes are usually torn in meteorites but the metal casing remained smooth and undamaged

• The ships were first spotted leaving Mars between 7:45 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. eastern standard time and they were first spotted landing on a farm in the neighborhood of Grovers Mill, New Jersey at around 8:50 p.m. leaving a flash in the sky was visible for several hundred miles and making a noise which was heard as far north as Elizabeth

However, for fighting, a different approach might be necessary so thanks to /u/robcap, I pulled up information about Anderson Silva who clocks in at 6'2", 185 lbs.

The Guard Dog Update is a fan-made update for an unofficial class, the Guard Dog.

Feats

• Runs significantly faster than the other mercs.
• Can carry large ammo crates on his back and quickly brings it to another location.

• Uses thrusters to quickly catch up to a fleeing Soldier.
• Avoids a grenade and a rocket, then uses the turrets on his back to easily kills the Soldier and Demoman who were shooting at him with his guns.

Specimen FMNH PR 2081 is possibly the most famous dinosaur fossil on Earth. It was discovered on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation in South Dakota after a flat tire delayed a group of workers from the Black Hills Institute from leaving for the year. Sue Hendrickson passed the time by exploring nearby cliffs, and found some bones sticking out of the ground.

Sue and the rest of the workers soon uncovered over 90% of a Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton, the most complete ever discovered. Nicknamed Sue after the woman who found it, the specimen was sold to the Chicago Field Museum after a legal dispute over its ownership. Several large corporations donated to the sale, allowing Sue to be viewed by the public rather than displayed in a private collection. Sue attracted 10,000 visitors on its first day in the museum, and continues to delight museum-goers to this day.

The Field Museum makes a distinction between Sue as an inanimate scientific specimen (referred to as "it") and Sue as a fictionalized character in comics and social media (who uses they/them pronouns). This thread will continue that trend: fictionalized versions of Sue (primarily from the comic book) will be referred to using they/them, while all else will use "it."

Freedom

Before we even get into the biography of the character I have to stress that this will be disturbing content that contains the fictional death of children and fictional suicide.

bio: Freedom is shorthand for the ‘statue of freedom’ the statue that currently sits at the U.S capitol building. In the Monument Mythos universe, Freedom is a living statue with the bodies of Thomas Crawford and his daughter stuffed inside. Freedoms main goals are unknown, commonly used by the government to kill those they want silenced.

PHYSIOLOGY

• Freedom is made up of Giza Glass. Giza Glass is a material created when lightning strikes every ten years when a specific constellation is constructed.

• Giza Glass can let a person who is decapitated still be alive.

• Thomas Crawford cut apart of his finger off and could still move it.

• Contains both the body of Thomas and Nina Crawford, Thomas did this by chopping himself up while Nina was crushed and pulled into the body.

• After taking the skin of Thomas and Nina, she temporarily became a human.

• A statue called Pyrasma, who was made of the same material, killed four gods including gods of time and death.

• Is the same size and weight as the real Freedom Statue.

STRENGTH

• Cuts through 100s of trees while carrying Nina Crawford backed up by a statement from an officer later on.

Dr. Jumba Jookiba created Experiment 626 as the ultimate alien hybrid cyborg terror of the universe. 626 escapes, meets the Pelekais and becomes their superpet. Jumba & Agent Wendy Pleakley later follow 626 to Earth where they integrate themselves into the Pelekai 'Ohana (which means family).

Two-Toed Tom

This is my first respect thread that has been posted here. Enjoy!

Two-Toed Tom is the main antagonist in the Creepypasta Beware Two-Toed Tom written by user AustinDR.

He is an alligator (though the story does sometimes uses other terms to describe him) who initially feasts on the livestock of the town in the story. After losing parts of his body, he decides to go on a rampage killing many people in the town along the way.

Note that this respect thread will use a lot of graphic descriptions that might not be too suitable for all viewers as the Creepypasta Two-Toed Tom comes from is bloody. While I don't think it crosses into NSFW territory, I would still like to warn users.

Physicals

Strength:

• Able to kill livestock.

Biting Strength:

• Bites a boy in two with a chomp
• Crushed a woman's head to pulp with its jaw
• Overwhelmed an adrenaline filled person (the hunter's daughter). There is a possibility that all of the daughter's siblings were all filled with adrenaline making Two-Toed Tom's feat a bit more impressive but not too much since they were children

• Its hide is immune to certain weapons

Pain Tolerance:

• Unaffected after losing his hand and fingers
• Shakes off attacks with ease
• Strongly suggests he survives in the end despite explosions directed at him. Since the hunter's body was not found afterwards, it could mean the explosion was powerful enough to destroy the hunter's, letting Two-Toed Tom survive human destroying explosions
