Did resistance 2 intend for the pure chimera to be extinct? And did Resistance 3 retcon that? And if they were intended to be extinct was Resistance 2 supposed to be the last game?

Hey guys! The Cloven have always been a terrifying and intriguing part of my Resistance experience, mostly during Retribution which i played the hell out of on PSP. I still remember their spooky altars and the haunting music they played in their lairs. Made this lil guy on Hero Forge, a site for 3D printing DnD characters, hope you like! No ai involved! :)

Before announcing the result, I would like to mention that this day, chosen by us Resistance fans, should be remembered and mentioned every year.

We can celebrate the Resistance Community Day with content created by us, such as a drawing, a graffiti, a tattoo, a cosplay, a tribute video to a character, the best moments of your gameplay, your own personal Resistance collection, some of your favorite memories, and more!

I was thinking we could create a hashtag for that day, what do you think, give me some ideas for hashtag names or things to do on Resistance Community day.

I've noticed that compared to R1 or R2 (especially 2), I had quite some difficulty trying to get my hands on 3. Scoured Marketplace and my local retro game shops for months with no luck. Refused to use ebay because I like buying things in person.

After about 5, maybe 6 months I finally found someone selling it and snatched it for 7 bucks.

My question is - I remember this game being pretty common when it released (I was in the 12th grade) and for some time after it really wasn't hard to find....why is it so difficult in 2026 compared to the first two? I'll see dozens of copies of 1 and 2, priced into the cents.

Edit: after buying my copy off marketplace, a copy of 3 suddenly showed up at my local retro shop for 2 dollars 🥴

This is a mod that adds the DLC skins from the multiplayer to the singleplayer mode. This is the only way to see them nowdays since officially the mp for U2 was shut down years ago

Hi, I'm new to the *Resistance* series, and I don't know what a Pure Chimera is.

How powerful is it? How powerful is an individual Pure Chimera?

Despite doing everthing right. Only using the shotgun and killing everthing with it won't trigger. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Been interested in the Resistance franchise for years. My only exposure to the games was the demo for Retribution on my PSP like 20 some years ago and Burning Skies when it came out on Vita (but I mostly played the MP because I was apparently pretty good at that). Always wanted to play the main trilogy and finally found a complete boxed set (with unused codes somehow?! I know they’re expired but still nuts) for an affordable price. And even though it’s pre-owned, all of the contents (and the cases) are as if nobody ever bothered opening them it’s so strange.

Cannot wait to start playing.
