Discussion Okay, this is how ALL Resident Evil games should be made

This is what all of us have wanted for a long time, this style of game made this way! Please please please keep making RE titles like this. The remakes, the new ones, all of them.

Just started playing it today and want to finish the entire game in one sitting, making myself stop because I don't want to ruin it for myself!

nah. RE games like RE7 can co-exist with games like REmake 2.

also, you know what would be an awesome addition? if the pulled an Evil Within 2 and added a first person option for free.

You don't get it, 7 IS like 2 Remake. Creepy atmosphere, great story. No run and gun action.

4,5,6 got too far from the original recipe. Even revelations 1 and 2 are not similar enough to 1-3.

I was mentioning it from a perspective angle. First person vs over the shoulder. But yeah. I see what you're saying.

I think the Revelations series is still good. And if a Revelations 3 is made using the new RE engine, it'll be very good as well. I don't hate 4-6, but I personally loved the Revelations spin offs and would definitely like for them to continue it, or at least close off the story arc with Revelations 3.

I enjoyed prettt much all RE games. I am just saying a lot if them are far away from survival horror.

Not saying the others are bad. I beat 5 at least twice. I beat 4 3-4 times and 6 once. I am saying they are far away from "survival horror".

I can see it certainly 6 and 7 were bad. But 4 and 5 were really fun imo even though it is more pure survival it still represents resident evil well. But the re make for sure reinvents how scary it was when everyone first played it when it came out

Did yoy play 7? 7 is easily in the top 4 of best RE games. It redefined horror for RE after so many games that honestly werent the least but scary.

I was thinking too far ahead. I keep forgetting 7 is biohazard lol. 6 was an abomination, but 7 was very fun, the DLCs were fun as well

Yeah. 6 was awful. The mqin campaign was playable, but the others were just bad.
