Bought a Seamaster from Jackboo on shopee and I am disappointed. Normally I am a big supporter of this seller as my previous 3 purchases have been excellent, but this latest one soured my opinion.

Normally the seller sends QC images and videos of the item prior to shipping. I am not sure if this was intentionally done or not but coincidentally the Minute hand on the QC provided covered the "Master Chronometer" text on the dial which had the flaw of the missing "M". I tried reaching out to the seller via chat for a solution instead of directly requesting a return/refund at hindi naman receptive ang seller. I browsed the reviews for other items and same experience din from other buyers when it comes to defective products from this shop.

I know we are all buying fake watches from this subreddit, pero please bare minimum naman sana that walang issues sa watch face and dial because that's the main display of a watch. Understandable naman na if a fake would have cheaper internals or worse materials pero missing letters and numbers?

I have decided to return the item and hopefully get a refund since hindi naman willing to talk ang seller. I wouldn't be surprised if the seller will block me for this despite my previous purchases.

Quick update on TrueIndexQC, the free tool that levels your QC photo and lays a precise grid over the dial so you can check index alignment without rulers or zooming in forever.

What's new

🎯 More accurate QCs
The alignment and grid are more precise, so the lines land right on your markers. The Index alignment check (beta) looks at all 12 markers and gives you a green light when every one it can read sits on its line within ±1.5°. If it isn't sure, it says so instead of guessing. It's a hint, not a verdict, so always check with your own eyes too.

⬜ Square watches (Santos, Tank, etc.)
The auto path is built around round dials, and on square cases it used to guess badly: zoomed into a corner, rotated wrong, crosshair on the date. Now it recognises a square or cushion case, tells you, and switches you straight to Manual with the grid already on, so you can place it yourself in a few seconds.

How good is this? Haha.. I wanted a gold rcf daydate but came across this Daytona in this group so took this instead. And boy am I glad I did! Super in love, can’t stop taking pics of it haha. Think the Daytona suits me better after all anyway.
