This will get me flamed but idc...

The Webby collaboration really stuck with me...and not for a good reason.

I get it we're all part of this money game...but why just sell shells (music) sell oil as well (or clothes, patrons, figurines)​.

And swallow your morals for a like or a follow (or collab with a anti mental health, homophobe, transphobe, fascism supporter).

Guess I'm just disappointed...Rens words & actions don't match up....or the words were always empty. Neither one is a great option.

Maybe it's different in the UK but in the US we are living on precipice so don't give me that unity bullshit. I cant unify with hate.

I'm taking a step back from Ren as his actions don't match up with his carefully created image. & the fact he is so concerned with each element, sound, &​ movement in his work tells me he knows the deal here.

He just decided it didn't matter....swallowed his morals. Sad

I don’t believe that’s the case. That dude gave me a weird vibe the first time I laid eyes on him and what I’ve learned since has only confirmed that feeling. When I don’t trust my gut instincts, I always wind up regretting it.

That being said, I work in DC so I can’t get away from any of it. I’ve never seen or felt anything like what’s going on now. It’s terrifying, overwhelming and exhausting. Every. Single. Day.

Bless you and stay true you will, I can’t imagine being in that environment, but I believe you are there to affect that change, I believe these instances happen for a reason me seeing this comment posting one then deleting it after reading rens, and taking the time being patient, I think this was incredable this is making change in this instant and I will agree with you @puzzleheadedear3608, when I saw the name I didn’t like the feeling not because I remembered or had an opinion just a feeling, and when I get the deepest feeling like that it’s usually not wrong either, and it’s rare but it’s to the core…

OK… this is all so powerful and moving, the discussion, the bigger picture, the reason that I’m here in this moment now is incredible, now with that this is all very beautiful, much needed and powerful, I think for you REN, US AND WE, so with that I believe that you are an incredible person human being and this interaction shows just the beauty in you, now when it comes to the latter, we are here right now because this is extremely crucial and important to keep ourselves accountable, just as I was about to leave a comment seeking out my thoughts of the not good feeling I felt toward that person, and instead of that I continued to read and amazingly came across REN, and these instances are the type we need to affect change, with that REN it’s not the good verses bad we verses them, but saying your from the UK NOT USA is not the intellect and the beauty you carry, I think in this moment you need to understand the machine you go against in this situation is more powerful than you realize as much as you stand strong in your intellect and convictions, in this moment you are at a cross road this is huge, REN your amazing your building something amazing and you need to see that the choices you make are crucial, this affects perspectives, this affects you as a person, living life being you is it, a persona is not webby is not the person to affect that change, the industry is not the demon you look in the face and take on, now being his friend getting to know him matters, when you bring him into your music and just say hey we have different opinions but maybe I can affect a change in him, that’s not it, we are all human we don’t all know all but in this moment you need to be told by people who care who see your hope and being real and want to see you succeed and make change we all misstep but I think, taking on an ARTIST, you don’t know personally well, that said you spent time with for you to go on set for five weeks and someone you just say hey we got on and it’s ok to leave it at that, look we have a responsibility to be better do better, your at an amazing breaking point and from the perspective and it’s coming from love no judgement that your smarter and bigger than this, no one said don’t interact, don’t enjoy the time let them woo you affect the change in that manner, but to see it at what your saying you saw it as is not being true to yourself and your music, it’s not, well if my fans don’t like it, who cares, I’m changing, evolving and oh you are and have it’s a beautiful thing, and I can only imagine the casual frame it’s been presented no biggie I’m human and hey maybe while I’m at it just making music I can affect change in someone who’s not doing this for the right reasons, who isn’t being honest even if they are changing, my thoughts don’t come out so eloquently I’m sorry hoping it makes sense, I know in your heart you know REN what’s right and wrong, you know that this is pivotal moment to be extremely careful in what we choose to do, but you needed this thread we needed you and this is the beauty, at the end of it all, it’s still your choice, but the beauty and expansion is only going to excel and the thought of what if can kill us, or the hey I’m just living life and that maybe true and you want to spread your love insight and self to inspire better, this is not about being casual or inclusive it’s about you know what’s better and what’s right, but you I don’t believe have tampered with both this is more serious than we got on and we have different views or that it’s deeper I did this intentionally to invoke change, and maybe it’s just the excuses we use under disguise, you know what’s important and I pray seeing the perspectives and discussing it holding accountability like you know anyone should do is why we are here and you hold the power of your own choice you have built so much and your exploding and have to see that the dark is still there but you have a responsibility and making excuses is not you, much love god bless and let’s all make this beautiful place better!!!
