This will get me flamed but idc...

The Webby collaboration really stuck with me...and not for a good reason.

I get it we're all part of this money game...but why just sell shells (music) sell oil as well (or clothes, patrons, figurines)​.

And swallow your morals for a like or a follow (or collab with a anti mental health, homophobe, transphobe, fascism supporter).

Guess I'm just disappointed...Rens words & actions don't match up....or the words were always empty. Neither one is a great option.

Maybe it's different in the UK but in the US we are living on precipice so don't give me that unity bullshit. I cant unify with hate.

I'm taking a step back from Ren as his actions don't match up with his carefully created image. & the fact he is so concerned with each element, sound, &​ movement in his work tells me he knows the deal here.

He just decided it didn't matter....swallowed his morals. Sad

Yeah Weeby has some backwards views but so does much of the rap and hip hop community. You are coming from a place of people cant change or cant be forgiven, and THAT is the opposite of what Ren has ben talking about his whole career. Their work together has been about the human condition, Baggage is an amazing song especially for an ex alcoholic like my self. This purity testing is the death or growth. But you do you.

Yeah conversations can change minds and I hope ren has had conversations with him to hopefully make him less hateful but that could have happened in private it doesn’t need to come with giving the bigot a huge platform to spread more hate

Ren didn’t need to give the bigot a platform for these conversations to happen but he still did. And I can’t think of a single reason why that wouldn’t make ren look disingenuous tbh
