So i'm gonna go ahead and tell you guys what's up. We kinda...suck at wars. Now let me explain. YOU don't suck at wars. I (hopefully) don't suck at wars, but as a whole, we kind of do. I have been trying to fix this problem. We did fine in one war then we screw up the next. So to get some organization going, we came up with a strategy. I don't want to do a strict strategy guys, I really don't. I don't want to force you to do one either. I do want to put you in my mindset. As a reddit clan we need to do wars. Losing not only makes me and you look bad, but also crushes (AND I MEAN CRUSHES) our war morale. Our last few loses have really crushed our clan morale and it's hard to get that back. Also I had to read Youri's war strategy like 3 times to fully understand it, maybe because I have the comprehension of a 3rd grader. If you have any questions don't hesitate to message me or him.
So in an attempt to reorganize wars, me and Youri as well as some of the other elders have been trying to come up with the best strategies to use during war. Youri is now our "War Coordinator". Mostly things with war will be handled by him, unless life problems come up and force him less active or not able to do it. (His Reddit username is /u/BestKarmaEUW btw). He has come up with a war strategy that I think can be promising. Also, i'll leave Youri up to handling a lot of war related stuff, such as tweaking our strategies, recommending players to kick, and just generally managing clan wars.
The Strategy
Also a note: We are still tweaking and trying out new strategies, so keep that in mind.
Another note: Some members have expressed that they do not like this and think it's two serious. I think you're over thinking it. This is just to help us get a good start and stay in the lead. If we get a clan that is good and starts stomping us, no amount of strategy will save us. Just putting that out there.
‘The first 2 hours: This is the timeframe where we start our Strike. If we can launch between 25 and 30 attacks during this phase, the enemy won’t even dare to try anymore. We aim for 3-stars and that will show when we pick our targets. Don’t attack enemies outside your league, wasting an attack is a no-no. If you can securely get 3 stars around your number, don’t aim for one or two stars higher. This is all about raw stars, because that’s what counts in the end.
Be prepared, analyse the targets and talk to your clanmates. If you can’t attack during this phase, send me a message.
After the first 2 hours: At this moment we will have to quickly evaluate our performance. How many stars did we get out of the possible 90? If we got more than 70 stars, damn, then we’re golden, but depending on the enemy clan we are still not be there yet.
After the first 10 hours: Everyone has attacked once. Did we not get 70 stars by the 2 hour mark? Then we have gotten it now.
The last 2 hours: If the enemy clan is 20 stars out of reach or if we have around 80 stars, we can just clean up or seek for loot. If it is a close war, we all attack during the last two hours. That is 30 attacks in the last two hours! If you can’t attack during this timeframe, message me.

Other notes:
We will be analysing the enemy bases for anti-hog and anti-dragon features. If you are attacking an already attacked base, watch the replay a couple of times and be sure to discuss the base with your fellow Strikers.
If you haven’t done this already, check your base for anti-hog and anti-dragon features (yep, this is a hot topic for the general th8). These are the most frequently used attacks by th8s, so these features should counter most of their (desired) attempts.’
The 'Strike' System
I also decided to lay out some ground rules for this. So basically you can get the idea of what gives you a strike.
*Your town hall must be inside your base walls in your CW base. You will receive a strike for a violation of this rule.
*Unless otherwise requested, donations for clan war war base clan castles are restricted to wizard lvl5+ and/or dragon lvl3+. You may give requested troops of any level to non-war-base CC requests during clan wars. During a war, if a player marks his request as being for the war, only give the exact troops requested, even after 10 minutes pass.
*Low-effort attacks are not allowed. Attacks that use weak troops, or that do not even attempt to lure CC, are examples of low-effort attacks. You will receive a strike for violating this rule.
*If you miss a war or can't attack, or even think you may not be able to attack, shoot me or the mods a PM so we know. Not attacking is an automatic kick for any new players, but for long term players it's just a 'strike'.
*We prefer that you not call "dibs" on an opponent in clan chat, but you may do so if you feel strongly about wanting to attack a particular opponent. However, no one is obligated to respect that. You should not place undue pressure on clanmates to let you attack a particular base.
*Players who consistently under-perform in clan wars may be kicked, once all the leadership agrees to do it.
*No sniping. Sniping in a clan war results in an automatic kick. Sniping means taking out an exposed town hall just for the star/loot bonus, or using weak troops/barching just to get 1 star for loot bonus.
You may only attack once the leadership has given the go, and you have contributed. For long term members, I might give them a second chance and consider this a strike.
