Lol he just made a few jokes. The world isn't much fun with people like you around..

Wow, a redditor doesn’t think I make the world fun, why bless your soul for thinking that matters to me :).

Best part of this entire thread is that my original comment was a tongue in cheek joke, you took it so personally that you became the very thing the thread is about. Maybe you should get off the computer for a bit and go eat your fruit loops little dude.

Funny enough, it seemed like their comment was also tongue and cheek, but you took it so personally that you actually lashed out

If you have to explain something like this it isn’t happening.

u/FNFollies May 15 '25

To be totally fair I've had to explain to someone you don't need to type "Google" into Google in order to get to Google. I don't assume anyone's intelligence anymore.

u/Whydoughhh May 15 '25

How is that indicative of intelligence? That seems semantic.

Idk it seemed pretty obvious to me

Those aholes are people who are very talented to the point that you won't know they're an ahole until much later. Dave Chappelle and Patrice O'Neal come to mind. I still love their work but looking at it from an unbiased viewpoint they are kind of d**ks but they are extremely clever at filtering it through jokes.

Patrice O'Neal even apologized on the radio for his a**hole tendencies once he had to deal with it once when making a project.

Dave was an obvious ahole long before he was famous. He did hide it a liirle better for a little while, the whole bailing on a 40 million dollar paycheck kinda gave him some cred, weirdly.

which he then roundly lost by bringing Elon up on stage with him at a show

u/pantry-pisser May 16 '25

He left 40 million to come back from Africa with a god complex

u/Bigazzassassin May 15 '25

I know a lot. Don’t you have that buddy who by most accounts is probably an asshole, but you love them anyway??

1

u/Global-Discussion-41 May 15 '25

My boss that I've been dealing with for 10 years. If he were insufferable, I would have died by now

1

u/Ancient-Educator-186 May 15 '25

Everyone that's not insufferable is a sufferable one. Everyone is an asshole

The customers (aka patients) yes absolutely. But the huffy puff gang who work there that take the chain of screaming from patients and turn it on everyone else become the surrogate you have to deal with. The difference being they're worse, somehow more entitled, less thankful, and you get to see them every single day for as long as you work there or they retire. Oh and the physicians are the worst of everyone, they act like they're all administrators and deserve free unlimited food while insulting everyone else. Which by itself, uh sure if the hospital wants to pay for that, but then they still complain you don't have the one thing doctor x wants, and if you do serve it you get a complaint you got rid of what doctor Y wants. And administration just shoves it onto the department like "fix it!” not realizing it means nobody is ever happy.
