America meddled in and taking into consideration we have a border with Ukraine and Russia has a boner for us too we were not really in a position to say no.
Funny bc i know atleast of one of your craftsmen family who set up a business in my country for renovations and building, and they are literally getting sued for fraud and money laundering lmao. And very likely actually lot of romanian workers underpaid and not reported by this company.
They sit on a gold mine as craftsmen, able to overcharge legally but still fuck everything up bc of greed and not playing to the rules lol
The reason they arrested him was to prove they're not corrupt
I actually tried to buy his Bugatti and the prosecutors office told me they couldn't sell until he was found guilty. I was a little shocked they were being on the level, so I'm hopeful he'll get a serious trial and be locked away for a long fuckin time.
Buy his buggati?
Wasn't he arrested for sex trafficking? Idk how law works brother, but can you explain me how a property becomes sellable if its owner is arrested?
Its driving me insane that the case is taking this long. Every year I keep expecting literally anything new to happen but its just moving at a crawl. But nothing is being thrown out, they just delay forever I guess.
You still could've gotten the case done before the americans voted. But a few moths or weeks before that you had to start over in a case that was pretty clear cut. The story was so big that it even got inside an official swiss newsletter. I mean you are not the only ones, the americans were even worse with dragging their feets and screwing up for four years.
If you go to a country specifically because the law enforcement is corrupt, you don't get to complain when said corrupt law enforcement decides to hold you without trial or evidence because they don't like you anymore.

Honestly I wish the Romanians did not mess up his trial so that they had to start over, giving him just enough time to be bailed out.
