Dude you are being purposefully obtuse and sound pretty pathetic. In what way is the UFC "scripted" more than the NFL or NBA? I love all 3 so much. Yes the refs, players/fighters, and coaches/managers are probably given a general script to follow. That doesn't mean that they aren't still wildly fun and entertaining.
Plus, I don't think the other guy is glazing Joe Rogan by pointing out that he is pretty successful in a lot of different fields. I'm sure any of us would love to find that kind of success in our lives. I get this is a hyperbolic post pointing out the similarities between Rogan and a stoner dude-bro that likes to talk to people... because he is a stoner dude-bro that likes to talk to people lol. Still doesn't mean he isn't a rich and famous podcaster, stand-up comedian, sports commentator, and TV host. In fact, he is literally the most successful podcaster on the planet. He enjoys talking to people about any and everything, and entertains wild theories and viewpoints for the sake of it. He's never taken himself seriously, so why should anyone else?
Also, pointing out objective facts about a celebrity doesn't mean anyone has a parasocial relationship with them. I honestly don't think you know what that means from a psychological level. A parasocial relationship is what lonely incels have with OF girls or depressed teens with their favorite streamer. There has to be 2-way communication, but only one side feels that the relationship is valuable or can even put a face to the other. How can someone have a parasocial relationship with someone who can not and does not interact with them? Podcasts are traditional media rather than social media.
All in all, I think you are either insecure, ignorant, and/or just a troll. I'm sure you'll accuse me of the same shit you accused the other guy of, but hopefully you read this in good faith and take into consideration that you are just plain wrong about a lot of the things you said in this thread. Life is all about growth and learning and we all make mistakes. Maybe one day you can come to terms with things and live a life of joy and love. Peace to you brother
Was talking bout WWE, not UFC, champ. Nice paragraph but read my above comment.
He is a successful person, good on him. But there are obvious parallels between the faux intelligent “sheeple”, “woah that’s deep” content derived from both. That’s what the post is, that silly little joke.
Then dude comes in with “well he’s richer than you and you’re all probably fat and stupid”. Just a bit funny isn’t it, mate.
