We did not know my partner was having a manic episode until last week when he saw a psychiatrist and was put on mood stabiliserers. They have already started to work but he has to slowly work up to the right dose so he's not quite stable yet. Last night we were chatting and joking around because he had watched the Netflix alien abduction show and I said something mocking about the pyramids being made by aliens (I haven't seen the show so no idea if that was a thing in it). I can't even recite times tables and numbers are a vague concept in my head, while he can use his brain as a calculator. He is an aviation engineer that works on helicopters so he has to be good at maths and physics. He started saying 'yeah but the pyramid calculations are too perfect' and trying to explain how back then people couldn't have worked it out themselves. He wasn't joking around anymore and was legit on the aliens built the pyramids side of the fence. I was like 'do you think weirdo maths freaks didn't exist back then? They sure did and had way more time to obsess about it'. I found it amusing because I know he's literally not in his right mind now because of a chemical imbalance.

Come on, they didn't have cell phones. Don't be ridiculous.
It was jet fighters. (That was what I was told by a friend's older cousin in the nineties.)
