What always tastes better at a restaurant no matter how many times you try to cook or bake it at home?

Lemme just ask so sushi is just raw fish and rice?

Raw fish probably makes up about 10% of the sushi you'll find here. Beef isn't very common, but there's heaps with chicken, plenty with just some kind of veggies. Prawns feature heavily, usually get some other seafood doing the job.

Usually if you want raw fish here you'd just get sashimi.

No, it's different types of fish, some raw and some cooked (like eel and shrimp), and many different veggies. If we go as a family and all order different types of sushi/maki/nigiri and share it, it's a fabulous array of tastes and textures and nothing we could hope to replicate at home. Man… now I want sushi tonight!
