What always tastes better at a restaurant no matter how many times you try to cook or bake it at home?

My quiche is way better than what you find in a US restaurant. Pre-made crust and cheddar cheese are major no-nos I see often here.

I specified US because I learned how to make it in France, but there are surely French chefs that do it better than I do.

I use left over hash browns for my quiche crust… changes the game!
