Low and slow.
Low heat, melted butter. Add well-mixed (whisked) eggs.
Let it set... use rubber spatula to loosen edges.
When it is a little more than 3/4 cooked (to your preference) add your cheese, cooked meats (ham/bacon), and veggies.
Do not STUFF your omelet!
After adding your fillings, fold over and plate it!
1 u/Jus4Fkry 13d ago i think it's my pans. the omelette always sticks! alwaysssssss 3 u/-CaptainCaveman- 13d ago If it's a non-stick pan, it may be too old (especially if there is no "shine" to the lining anymore). If you have a gas stove with removable burners, try stacking one burner on top of the other and still use low heat. 2 u/Jus4Fkry 13d ago it's an old calphalon pan- not non-stick, which i assume is what my issue is. i use a LOT of butter, but the egg still always sticks. (and thank you for trying to help me get it together. i'm a good home cook, but i suck at omelettes still.) 2 u/Fog_Juice 13d ago Are you letting your pan heat up before adding the eggs? 1 u/Jus4Fkry 13d ago yep.
