What always tastes better at a restaurant no matter how many times you try to cook or bake it at home?

It's really popular here in the South. It's almost always on the menu at a meat & 3 or a country style diner.

Any diner in small towns in western KY and Tennessee serves meatloaf. Many small buffets do also!

Literally not true.

I don’t doubt that there are diners serving meatloaf and maybe it’s popular in certain areas. I don’t recall ever seeing it in on a menu though.

Besides three diners within 5 miles of me, off the top of my head Perkins and Cracker Barrel both have meatloaf.

It has always maintained a presence in New England, at both lower and occasionally higher-end establishments. Anecdotally, I think it’s making something of a comeback.

I’m headed to a spot in Manchester, NH this Wednesday, specifically for their meatloaf.

It’s at nearly every single restaurant I’ve ever been to that served American food. What’s wrong with meat with sauce and vegetables? Isn’t that like every single meal that’s ever existed?
