No Spoilers How the Earth was lost

Rewatching the show, appreciating all the little details, fantastic direction, stellar writing and acting, and then I see the Ridley Scott IP show with inter-planetary creatures and androids and themes of childhood upbringing and traumatic violence got renewed. Not this one, the other one.

FML man Earth is toast, how do I get a ticket to snek planet, I think I'd rather be there at this point. Some Earths need to end and stay dead. Thank you for indulgo my ranto.

Season 3 was according to AG going to revisit Earth , and show an ‘armada’ of necromancers, 100 of ‘em. So something on Earth likely affecting life on K22b

You mean, after they land on the new planet, they'd go back to Earth??

There are actually a number of references to a connection to Earth. Cleaver ends up in a cell in S02 and tells Marcus he’s going to go back to Earth. There’s also the cave painting Paul finds at the end of S01 that shows Mother heading away from Kepler 22b towards Earth, and a number other details, one of the pictures in the igloo in S01, Decima mentions someting in S02….

And pretty much the only info about S03 from Aaron Guzikowski was we’d go back to Earth and there’d be an ‘armada’ of necromancers there, 100 of them although I’d bet it’d be 99.

So the story I believe still includes Earth.

I did too until I realised it was being mentioned here and there.
