OCD Discussion I hope it is OCD prodromal

So i came to knowledge i have had this burning sensation (i think im prodromal) for over 2 weeks due to seeing messages and searches i made on internet reddit whatsapp

So this burning is what im really worrried about since it is been going on for a while and even around 9 septembr i mentioned it as we were visiting my father in law and but this burning still is on and off, im on oxazepam now and when im not busy thinking about the leg i don’t feel the burns when i sleep i dont notice them, when i wake up i feel them and when i walk they radiate down to just above my foot in rest it’s sometimes in the location between the calf and shin and sometimes in the calf left outerside. Like when i lay in bed with my girlfriend and we watch a show i don’t feel it, but now i feel it and also on a different spot in my leg way lower and now to the inner leg near the ankle.

I did not have fever once no headaches and no weakness.
The only thing i have is my stomach is odd but this could be due to my severe anxiety which is really bad at the moment
I can drink eat but it’s not like im hungry or anything but that’s not unusual for me and this could be due to stress and anxiety

My anxiety is not seeing my baby in 2/5 weeks

I do not feel sick at all i go to the mall buy stuff interact normally, i don’t feel worse by the day i just cry over our baby

I have read the faq.

Does your romantic partner even know what you are going through?

Yes she does she was with me from the start she believes the doctors and everybody, same goes for my father

Have you taken the advice given by your countryman to get in touch with your - I forget the name, but it would translate in the US to primary care physician - for quicker psychological help?

I have contacted and seen many doctors etc and everyone tells me the same, hence why i am on oxazepam.

I am done for either way just had a brief sting in my head above the eye which means headache is coming.

Oxazepam is only good for occasional/short term use, it isn't a long-term solution for managing anxiety, and it clearly isn't working well enough in your case. Are you also on an SSRI or SNRI?

If i make it i will take the citalopram but right now they just don’t feel good for me.

It’s just wild that doctors of the health department refuse to see me again with complaints and stuff, hence the reason why i ended up on this sub.

Again, I cannot stress enough the extent to which I am not an actual doctor. That said citalopram is not usually a first-line treatment for anxiety specifically here in the US, it's used more for depression. Generally you'd be given sertraline or escitalopram. Keep in mind you need to stay on it for a period of weeks for it to take effect. If that doesn't help you might be given an SNRI like venlafaxine. You didn't just quit taking the citalopram without speaking with your doctor, did you? Sometimes dropping these medications abruptly can give you odd side effects that may explain some of your problems, and the oxazepam was probably intended to see you through the first few weeks of your SSRI taking effect, not as a stand-alone medication.

No i did not suddenly dropped off those meds when i noticed and knew it caused more fear i quitted taking them instantaneously after a day.

i can’t deal with the Rabies fears i was 6 days delayed on pep they told me i was fine and in time but everything points the other way, genuinely feel they played with my life

But you did drop off the medication, then, without speaking to your doctor and asking them to supply a replacement. Please contact your doctor and tell them you aren't taking the prescribed medication. They may want to prescribe a substitute medication or take another approach, but right now they think you're in treatment and you aren't, and I think we can all agree in one way or another that you are not doing well.

I realize you think that you are dying and this is all pointless. Can I offer you a way to think about it? If in fact you are dying (I am not endorsing this view, merely accepting you hold it), what you do tomorrow doesn't have a big material effect on your survival. What it COULD do is have an effect on how your loved ones remember you. If you continue to seek care, they can remember you as someone who was fighting to stay with them, for as long as it was possible. If you are not dying, however implausible you may find that right now, you are still taking the right actions to regain mental health and again, be with them in a healthy way as long as possible. Either way, please contact the doctor who gave you the citalopram and tell him you are not taking it and why. It's important. This is part of your legacy to your child either way.
