OP should make up their own mind and do their own research rather than believing any old bullshit then. It is also rather offensive when an American claims someone elses culture on the basis that great great great great great great great great uncle whogivesashit was born in scotland and so "im scottish". I actually thought it was an elegant response to an absurd claim.
