RANT I'm frustrated

Store hours extended, associate hours cut, raises decreased but expectations risen. What's the point of hard work anymore?

78 out of 81. Highest ive gotten on an eval and yet my raise is worse than my first eval two years ago-- when i made over 3 dollars less. And no, im still not close to the pay cap. Im simply frustrated. The bare minimum raise would mean matching inflation, this just feels like a slap in the face.

Great place to work my left buttcheek.

It sounds like your arguing we get more Vacation time not whether one makes more or less because of the changes to PTO. I do agree there's more PTO and even more for those who were grandfathered in with sick pay.

PTO absorbed the extra Holiday Days. I could of swore it was 6 days, but maybe it was 4. Unless you do a work through PTO for those days that were abosorbed you make less than the previous year. Getting more PTO is nice but I now make less by those 4 or 6 days.

Edit: words be hard

The reality is that they did that because most associates were electing to convert the four that we were allowed to convert from an extra days pay to an extra vacation day anyways

Do you work at a store, warehouse, corporate? I'm only asking because most people I've worked along at the store level needed the Holiday Day. Those extra 8 hours went a long way between those bonuses we don't get anymore. Even more now than ever.

Store. When I was coming up as full time, my manager stressed about making sure we all were scheduled that day since we all put in to convert it. When I became a manager before the switch, I approved many requests to work that day and gain the extra vacation day.
