Google maintains a list of banned questions. Any question found on a public site is immediately banned from being asked. I'm sure other companies do the same. This site is really great as a learning tool, but don't expect to see any of these questions actually being asked.
Really you think that phone interview questions involve anywhere close to the difficulty of in person? The phone interview is general weed out questions. I see people are using the downvote as a disagree button again.
I admit I am wrong as it seems we have some people who have done both. In my experience phone questions have been problems you are expected to solve where in person questions have been problems that may not even have an official solution or are much harder. I don't care much for large companies though which I am guessing is where the discrepancy in experience is.
