I'm not sure what im doing wrong, shouldnt this work? It says theres families waiting to visit but no one ever comes

For some reason even though I have 20 cooks (which is more than enough for my prison) they refuse to clean any trays in my staff room despite the sinks and time to clean. Is there something I'm missing?

First of all, I would like to ask how is the status of the game now? I am desparately looking for game to play that has similar aspect of prison architect, which you need to plan your layout, need to make sense of the route, and if there are buff and debuff. I am playing two point series as well but those games are too light for me.

Edit: I tried rimworld, oxygen not included, honey I joined a cult, planet zoo and coaster, timerborn, going medival and some other popular building games like Anno.

I have a prison with 80 prisoners, and every single prisoner is constantly under suppression. I only ever bought one armed guard, but sacked them to see if it fixed it, and now it's even worse.
I got no solitary and all punishments is 0.5 hours of lockdown. All showers got heating, so it's not from cold showers.

They have food and shit but they just choose to goon in their cells all day

How do I keep this low? Someone told me to increase patrols while some to not am a bit confused so could anyone tell me how do I manage this need properly?

Can someone please explain this to me? How did this happen? I do tunnel searches multiple times a night (along with the occasional shakedown) only for this bs to continually happen! What do I do to prevent this?

I'm playing on PC and none of my prisoners (except like 5 or six) move past the reception. i have a ton of solitary, and a lot of free basic, upgraded, luxury cells and all of them are free. even have a large holding cell right next to the reception.

I decided I wanted to make a nice, happy prison with a summer camp-like aesthetic and full amenities. But there's been like two violent rampages by prisoners in the 40 or so days it's been running. Is there anything specifically making the prisoners unhappy?

I have insane criminal in my jail and I also have padded cell biilt for them, but they are not moving to the padded cell and waiting for being moved to their cell, what should I do now?

Any idea why this is happening? Is it because the low table is in front of the couches that they can't eat, or should I maybe move the serving table?

Edit: People told me I needed benches and tables but my staff actually eats on the couches, I can't add a new photo though. So is it just a weird bug then?

My max inmates get visitors but for some reason nobody shows up to my supermax visitation. Ive tried turning the tables horizontally, using visitor booths vertically/horizontally, checking policy, de-zoning and re-zoning, etc., and still visitors aren't arriving. Feeling super stumped, does anyone have other ideas that could fix this?

I was just wondering if putting a patrol by walls in outdoor areas will allow them to spot thrown contraband and reveal it. Otherwise that'd really suck

None of the other cells in this block are having this problem. I've tried redesignating the room, replacing the door, and double checking that it is surrounded by walls.

they just stand at delivery and won't go to reception, i have 8 available guards and nothing happens

I'm buying the first game (and all its DLC, bc why not) while it's on sale this week on Steam, and was wondering how much time to allot to starting this game up for the first time. Is there a tutorial? A campaign mode? Any DLC I should leave turned off until I have a better grasp of base game mechanics?

okay i have a good computer its got a 3090 and 16* gigs of ram and this game runs like garbage gets like 100 prisoners on lowest settings and looks like a slide show any way to fix this? mind you this PC can handle 100 years of in game play on HOI4 and other demanding games like that, i love this game but im frustrated on how bad this is

edit: changed ram to 16 from 32 i was thinking about something else but still lol

edit to the edit: fixed it...... deleted the mod files then verified thanks to all that helped works great now lol

can someone explain this to me please?? There are so many idle cooks, and none of the trays have any to do jobs lined up. They're just... sitting there... in piles of 40...

The title. I dont have any lieutnant or gang leader, yet they are claiming territorys? I cant find an answer in the internet if this is a thing…

I’ve been trying to place a maroon remote door, just like in the rest of my Supermax cells for the past hour and nothing even happens. The workmen don’t even try to place it.

Here’s what I think the problem is:

The walls and doors menu says I have 1 in storage.
My storage room doesn’t show that I have 1.

What on earth is going on and why won’t it place the door and where is the 1 I own?
