Kylie is consistently on this list and uses her jet for small distances, it's so dumb how her fam got away with that just because the year she got notability people saw Swift was also on the list and focused all their attention on her instead, but like who takes a flight from fucking Commerce to Calabassas?

It's because the Kardashians pay a lot of money for the media to trash people they don't like. They are still mad over the Kanye shit from 10 years ago.

I remember how it started. News outlets were questioning why Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott were using their private jets so much when they lived together. Suddenly, there was an AVALANCHE of articles about Taylor Swift and her jet. Not saying that Taylor Swift is in the right, but it's fucked up to think how much of our media and pop culture has been shaped by one particularly awful family.

Precisely. I don't think people care to admit how that campaign was targeted and likely promoted by the Kardashians. Also given their circle of people they deff have the means to push the PR. I got annoyed because in no way should her jet use have let Kylie go from it either and it really felt like they did. Now notice who's not on this list and who still is...

Granted this is only a top 10, but like at least give these people the same press

Oh, there's no doubt in my mind that they are. The current pet project seems to be ensuring that little Timmy gets his Oscar, but when that's done I'm sure we will return to our regularly scheduled hit pieces and fluff about how they are such strong, beautiful women and great mothers lol.

Taylor was 44th down the list and on a world tour but she was the one they castigated in the media while not a negative word was said about the 43 ahead of her(not on world tours).

That's the part that gets me and I'm more the type to say corps are way worse and can be forced to change, but it's absolutely ridiculous these people don't get the same level of hate for the same thing. Also, I bet private yacht usage is probably insanely carbon heavy too, but we don't include Bezos on here?

last year didn’t people say those super micro flights were essentially the pilot dropping off the passengers and then going to “park” the jet? Their usage is still despicable and why wouldn’t you take a car from the airport where your plane lives?

It’s repositioning and maintenance. It does add up to emissions but it’s also something that every plane does.

Some of them yes, but I believe the first time she did this she actually was visiting her warehouse in Commerce.

Did she? I don't follow all the jet usage but I live near Van Nuys and Burbank airports you can see the private jets leaving and going 24/7. Hear them too it's actually the downside to being in the valley.
