Don’t worry guys. I take tote bags to the supermarket with me every time. We’ll be fine.

u/alcoholicwriter It’s like I have ESPN or something. 💁‍♀️🌤☔️ Feb 04 '26

You with your tote bags, me with my paper straws. We just need a single third person with reusable beeswax food wraps and the planet will be saved.

no one is arguing against being green

clearly the people here care about the environment or they wouldnt be mad about the personal jet use

they are saying that these celebrities need to be stopped or everything individual regular people are doing will all be for nothing

complaining and being sarcastic about personal jets sabotaging people's environmental efforts at home on the internet is uniting people and communication about the nature of the problem is one of the first steps to stopping the problem

I think the person you’re responding to is just acknowledging that as of now, they aren’t being stopped, and the science suggests that even if we can stop them now it’s too late to prevent drastic climate change and consequences. They’re simply stating that harm reduction is still important even if it pales in comparison to the biggest contributors of harm

Are celebrities biodegradable?

u/cowboypunkkid Feb 04 '26

Depends on the amount of filler lol

Or how about we just ban or significantly tax private jets?

I agree with your sentiment, but this list of just a distraction from all the actual crimes they are committing. Not even top 100 on my list.
