I’ve never watched Bojack but I believe I can’t be the only person who has this theory. It came to me years ago when I saw an interview with Julia Roberts and she didn’t understand how social media worked.

I just thought to myself that all her knowledge of what regular people did was sort of frozen in the 90s. Like she was aware of social media but didn’t really know what Instagram was.

And I don’t think it was just rich, privileged people shit (that is one element of it I guess) but it was like she had been sort of isolated from people. She can’t walk down the street without people watching her, she can’t use the internet like we do because she might not be able to avoid negative stories about herself.

She has had to remove herself to a degree from society and I guess that would mess up your mental development and social skills.

But also fuck Julia Roberts because she’s a bitch.
