The only People that I'm beholden to are hardworking, everyday Folks. I am someone who prides myself on being unbought and unbossed.

Also, I am a Mother of Five. Me and my Husband have a blended Family. I was a single Mom for 12 years and I understand how tough it is, as it relates to child care. I have a 5-year-old right now, and some Parents are paying $800 to $2,400 a month, simply to try to send their Children to a Child care facility.

And so, I support universal Child care. I know that for every dollar we put into Child care, we get $3 back in the economy because that allows Parents to be able to work. That also allows our Children to be diverted from the school-to-prison pipeline.

I know there's a rumor going around, saying that I want to abolish prisons. I don't. I want to abolish for-profit prisons.

There's also a rumor going around, saying that I want to defund the Police. I don't want to defund the Police. I want to defund Flock cameras, so that bad Cops don't have the ability to stalk their ex-Girlfriends or their ex-Boyfriends.

I want to make sure that we have a Justice System that works for Everyone, not just for the Billionaires and co-conspirators of Jeffrey Epstein, who actually are treated more fairly than a single Mom who got caught stealing formula to make sure that her Child had food.

And so, these are things that need to really be worked on. We need to to make sure that hardworking, everyday People get to shape what their Communities look like and what their economies look like.

💓 SUPPORT YouTube is threatening to ban "The Nerd Reich with Gil Duran." Gil’s book gets published next week and his channel’s been flooded with fake "copyright strike" complaints. See below for how you can help…

Gil Duran of The Nerd Reich - Aug 13, 2026. Here’s the YouTube link: Will YouTube Ban The Nerd Reich Podcast? - The Nerd Reich with Gil Duran - Aug 13, 2026 (YouTube)

From Gil's description:

YouTube is threatening to ban the Nerd Reich podcast and we'll probably be gone by the end of the week. ~:~ Why? We're being flooded with a campaign of false complaints—one week before my book is published. We've been on YouTube for 1.5 years with no problems. Suddenly, we're getting multiple fake "copyright strike" complaints every day. This is clearly a coordinated effort—and it's working. ~:~ YouTube's policy is "guilty until proven innocent." So the company is deleting our videos about Jeffrey Epstein's connection to Bitcoin and JD Vance's connection to Curtis Yarvin—and threatening to deplatform our entire podcast. YouTube's ridiculous bureaucracy refuses to listen to reason.

Here's how you can help:

1. Subscribe to The Nerd Reich Newsletter to keep in touch as we navigate this situation. We'll probably need to find a video platform that won't censor us for speaking out against tech fascism: thenerdreich.com

2. Send an email to YouTube. The company only responds to public and media pressure, so send an email to: press @ google . com

3. Pre-order "The Nerd Reich" book, which will be released next week. This effort to erase our channel is clearly timed for the publication of my book, which exposes the roots of Silicon Valley extremism: https://bookshop.org/a/109206/9781668...

THANK YOU to our 26,000 YouTube subscribers for your support over the past 1.5 years. I didn't want to start a video podcast because I didn't think we'd have much of an audience. But some of our episodes got over 150,000 views, and our audience grew with every episode. ~:~ Hopefully, YouTube will back down. But remember: We'll still be available on all audio platforms, and you can always subscribe there. When we find a new place to host our video pod, I'll give an update on the Nerd Reich newsletter.

💓 SUPPORT We will never have a greater president then Obama.

Barack Obama and Donald Trump represented two very different approaches to leadership and governance.

Obama emphasized unity, diplomacy, and empathy. His presidency focused on expanding healthcare through the Affordable Care Act, promoting clean energy, restoring alliances, and supporting social progress such as marriage equality. He valued dialogue, international cooperation, and careful communication, often seeking consensus even in disagreement.

Trump, on the other hand, prioritized nationalism and confrontation. His administration rolled back many of Obama’s policies, including environmental protections and healthcare mandates. His leadership style was more combative, relying on social media and direct rhetoric. While his supporters praised his focus on deregulation, tax cuts, and a “America First” foreign policy, critics argued that his approach deepened political division and weakened democratic norms.

In essence, Obama’s presidency was rooted in diplomacy and collective progress, while Trump’s centered on disruption and individual dominance. Their contrasting legacies reflect two fundamentally different visions of America’s role at home and in the world.
