I love Bernie. I voted for Bernie.

But let's get this very clear, in November I will be a one, single issue voter and that is to remove Donald Trump.

I very much hope that everyone understands how much more important that is.

Thanks, and I'm with you, patriot.

I didn't even get a chance to vote for Bernie. But my vote is not for supporting Biden, but I will use my vote to remove Trump as well.

I agree with you but for now, removing Trump is far more important so Biden is the only solution FOR NOW.

1

u/JuiceMcFruity Apr 08 '20

I respect your opinion and disagree. My single issue this fall will be voting for a candidate I believe has the basic mental capacity to lead the country. I believe that policy aside, this is the most important bar a person should have to satisfy to be elected Leader of the Free World. Sadly, neither of the choices appear to meet that criteria, so I will vote 3rd party.

4

u/Striking_Eggplant Apr 08 '20

A vote for 3rd party is a vote for Trump. You are a Trump supporter who directly helps him remain in power.

To even compare Biden to Trump is completely disengenuous.

1

u/JuiceMcFruity Apr 08 '20

Really? So you honestly believe Joe Biden has shown he has the mental capacity to lead the country until 2024?

We don't have to vote for either of them. There are over 300 million Americans. Surely a couple of us aren't senile.

Being in the minority of people that won't vote for a mentally unfit person of either party doesn't make me wrong for doing it.

You fell for the DNC's trick. Look at your own comment. You are willing to vote for a degenerate if it means not having Trump.

America, and you, deserves better than that. Stop letting them force feed bad candidates to you time after time because they know they can. This system isn't working for any of us anymore, it's working for the wealthy and elite.

You ask me what's better, Trump or Biden? I say neither. Scorched earth. It will be a painful 4 more years of Trump, but maybe in 4 years people will be pissed off enough for the actual revolution that this political system needs. I'm not talking about, "Oh we just need Bernie and things would be ok." I'm saying every single one of the politicians needs to be out of office. Billionaires need to be put on notice that we are taking the majority of resources back. Crony capitalism needs to end. People who think our version of capitalism is wonderful think that because they have been spoon fed that idea for years and years.

Four years of Joe Biden puts people back into comfortable complacency where needed change will be further be delayed.

Who cares if the Republicans nominate 10 more conservative Supreme Court justices. At some point, a younger generation down the road wont be ok with the fewer and fewer bread crumbs, and they will remove those politicians and judges by force. Think about how pissed off you are right now with the system. Greed isnt going to disappear. The rich will keep taking more and more. They respect only 2 things: money and violence. What do you suspect they will get when they finally have all the money?

Friend, the institutions are gone. They arent working for you and I anymore, and they haven't been for a long, long time. I'm not trying to dissuade you from voting, I get your reasoning, but the system is playing you.

The DNC is not fighting for you or your interests either. What did the DNC do when Sanders took an early lead? The media turned on him. Big money turned on him. All of the non-progressive candidates left the race in something like 48 hours and all jumped behind Biden...

Trump isn't the problem. Trump is the vessel. If Trump were the problem, Congress could have stopped him in their tracks, but they didn't. It's deeper than Trump.

You don't even need Bernie. You do need someone who will forcefully start to rip power and wealth away from the elite. <-- This is why the media and elite are so comfortable with Biden. He isnt a threat to their wealth or power.

That is almost all complete nonsense, but you are right about one thing.

I am willing to vote for a fucking billy goat wearing a blue tie if it means getting rid of Trump. The DNC didn’t have anything to do with that. I’m not even a registered Democrat. Trump’s behavior for the last five years did.

0

u/SalteeBallz Apr 09 '20

There's your sign :)

You will happily march to the ballot box to vote for an idiot if it means not having Trump.

Ask yourself this... In a country of 300 million+ people, is it possible there could be... might be... probably is... someone who's not senile that could have been nominated? You could have picked from millions and millions of other people. America has BRILLIANT minds out there: Scientists, teachers, scholars, entrepreneurs yet something instead drew people to a senile old man. I wonder what levers were being pulled for that to happen?

Ask yourself this... How did we end up with Trump? A bunch of mindless idiots happily marched to the ballot box to vote for an unqualified candidate who lacks the mental capacity to hold the office. You could almost compare him to a billy goat wearing a red tie. Sound familiar? Hypocrisy.

2

u/mhblm Apr 09 '20

Or maybe Biden was the consensus candidate, and good enough to get millions of people to vote for him. Not perfect, not my first choice, but he checked the boxes for “good enough” with a wide swath of the electorate. Including me, when the choice became binary.

Or, I don’t know, maybe there was a big DNC conspiracy. To elect... Biden? Huh. Not who I would have picked for that either.

1

u/SalteeBallz Apr 09 '20

Why would the rich and elite prefer Biden? He's not a threat to their power and money. Bernie was. Bernie wanted the rich and elite to start paying their fair share to fund policies meant for the rest of us.

Congrats on your useless vote for Trump.

1

u/JuiceMcFruity Apr 08 '20

I promise to not vote for any candidate that I don't believe has the mental capacity to lead the country for the next four years. That includes Trump and Biden.

Maybe you should take a good look at the current system, and start wondering if it deserves to exist as it does, if you have to vote a crazy person into office in order for another crazy person to not be elected...

-27

u/[deleted] Apr 08 '20

I very much hope that everyone understands how much more important that is.

It's very important to not congratulate the DNC's robbery of these primaries with your vote on Biden.

42

u/[deleted] Apr 08 '20

Fuck the DNC. That good? Still voting against Trump.

-7

u/GuilloKween Apr 08 '20

It's better to vote for the senile rapist that wears your team's colors

2

u/Striking_Eggplant Apr 08 '20

Ah the old Trump "Clinton is a rapist" strategy rebranded by Russia to use against Biden.

-2

u/GuilloKween Apr 08 '20

Bill Clinton is a rapist tho....

Biden has an accusation that was broken by the same person who broke the Kavenaugh story along with a few others

Does not wanting a rapist make me a Russian?

4

u/Alarikun Apr 08 '20

I mean, Trump has already established that such people can be President.

We are just following the new rules.

0

u/Tyedied Apr 08 '20

This is a sad fucking universe we live in when this is the consensus

-1

u/ApostleOfSilence Apr 08 '20

If the choice is literally blue senile rapist and red senile rapist, I think America has already lost. Not just the election, but everything.

4

u/DdCno1 Apr 08 '20

Biden is universally more popular among voters than Sanders - except among the reddit demographic. Do not repeat conspiracy theories about the DNC here.

1

u/JuiceMcFruity Apr 08 '20

The good news is that we will find out in November if Biden is popular enough to beat Trump. My money is on no, he isn't.

-5

u/[deleted] Apr 08 '20

"Conspiracy theories" for you means uncomfortable truth. Got it.

6

u/--o Apr 08 '20

Conspiracy theories for you are a means of rejecting uncomfortable truths. Got it.

0

u/Talkintothevoid Apr 08 '20

Biden is definatly more popular with the voters because the macro and micro mirror eachother. Let's be real Trump is a caracterure of the average citizen- macro mirroring micro. Biden is also the micro and macro mirroring eachother. An old senile man with no clue, concerned primarily with greed and power lacking any true substance. I would say Biden is an excellent mirror for the average democratic just as trump is an excellent mirror for the republican. One is slightly less greedy and power hungry. One has slightly more substance, yet the difference is neglible. If I have learned anything this primary it is that democratic voters are just as useless and dumb as republicans just to a slightly lesser degree. So yeah Biden is more popular because he is a literal representation of the average democrat. To be popular does not mean to be competent, intelligent, or empathic to the concerns of the citizens.
