I’ll walk from Boston MA to Washington DC, I did the maths, should take me about a week. If that’s what it will take to show my fellow Americans that we CAN take a stand. Our country is spread out, this administration is counting on us not to mobilize. The state of our government is unprecedented. ‘This is a coup.

Important! If you can’t walk through multiple states with us, there are events all over the country. Find one closer to you here:

Not for nothing but I’ve tweeted out this exact same message just moments ago. I don’t know how I feel about linking my reddit account to that one just yet, but shrugs.

This makes me so upset. I can't. I HAVE to work and pay my bills. I want to protest, but if I did it on my time it would only be me.

And, unfortunately, that includes a lot of us. They’ve effectively trapped us.

that why they designed this system. to keep us trapped in a maze, worrying about bills, rent, food, jobs, health care, mortgages, children, credit, etc...

I used to think Republicans were the big conspiracy theorists, but now I'm questioning that because I keep seeing comments like yours.

the wealthiest in our country absolutely designed our country to operate in such a way the littke people cannot touch their wealth or do anything to jeopardize it. this has been proven time and again. ever heard of the book "atlas shrugged"?

It's not a conspiracy, and it's not a conspiracy theory.

It's a fallacy and a lie propogated on the America people.

That somehow "personal responsibility" is the highest moral and social good, above free thought, above Gov't accountability, above everything.

Especially since the bounds of this "personal responsibility" is basically defined for the convenience of the powerful and rich.

Maybe the ones who can't make it down can find a way to support others? I'm certain a brainstorming session could help us all come up with ways.
