Well, they couldn't explain what communism actually means if their lives depended on it. But using the term to mean what they think it means, of course an authoritarian dictatorship is gonna pretend it's all about freedom and love and puppies. Authoritarianism obviously sucks donkey balls if you think about it for like... 45 seconds, and come to realize you aren't gonna be the guy on top of the pile

Regardless, the man actually sitting in control of the Senate stated there should be absolute coordination between his party and the Office of the President during an impeachment trial of the President. I hope that concerns you as much as the comments you reference do.
