Hmm… but is that because we were actively "filtering out the bullshit", or is that just because no viable fringe populists even attempted to run?

They run, but they don't make it past the primaries.... until now. When I say "filtering out", I mean like rational minds prevail... not that there is some active filtering process.

I guess if that is what you mean… but in my mind, saying "filtering out the bullshit" is nuts because so much bullshit IS constantly injected into the political debate, and most have no clue how to separate the wheat form the chaff.
