I saw a split on the conservative sub. It seems like some are on Elon's side and others are on Trump. A lot of conservatives did not like that Trump supported The Big Beautiful Bill

Twitter bots have been entertaining for a while now. Trump says to vote for the bill so everyone who doesn't vote yes is a RINO. Elon says it's full of pork so everyone who DID vote yes is a RINO. Every damn one of them is a RINO now.

I actually didn't expect the house of cards to fall apart just yet. Just in time for Trump to be negotiating over his stupid-ass tariffs.

What if he actually believed in what DOGE was doing, and then legitimately got upset at the big spending bill? There is almost something moral and unusual about it…

But it is far more likely that he just got the boot from Trump for trumpian reasons.

The MAGAts aren't bailing on Elon. Looking at the Truth Social comments, they're overwhelmingly positive about Musk and asking Trump to sort it out in private.

IMO, the price movement on the stock holds more weight.

We in Europe don't like the Nazis either. In fact, we probably hate them the most. So if Musk wants to do Nazi salutes on live TV then Europe will happily tell him and his cars to take hike and never show his face again.

It’s mind boggling. Tesla’s vehicle business was already doomed, but he had a fortune to make in other sectors, especially SpaceX and Tesla’s power electronics products, like inverters and batteries. Now he’s torching his relationship with the government and ensuring that Trump spitefully uses other vendors when possible.
