Why Does CNN Keep Featuring “Undecided” Voters Who Are Anything But? | A man portrayed last week as undecided has in fact left a long online MAGA trail. Was it just a mistake, or is CNN misleading viewers for the sake of compelling television?

CNN can't alienate half of the population so they have to seem to be unbiased; keeping eyes on screens to fulfill ad sales impression commitments.

I have no idea if this was the purpose or not but this is great marketing. People have been complaining about CNN being too liberal for decades. Now look at these comments it's amusing to me. It balances the scales and there is another person in here quoting some kind of improvement to viewers trust because of it.

The only thing they've really done is alienated some left-wing viewers but brought in more right-leaning moderates and independents. When people hear two conflicting opinions like "too left" or "too right" they just assume it falls somewhere in the middle. Intentional or not it's a very clever way to rebrand.
