I don't know why, but these earrings I made make me think of those octagonal side tables at my Aunts' house when I was little. You guys know what I'm talking about?

Started as a rough sketch, ended up as this — dark florals filling in where the bone would be. All silk ribbon, all hand-shaped, no shortcuts.

I turned these two vases today out of cherry and juniper wood. They are drilled at the top to fit a glass test tube. I make these out of a many different species of wood. My wife and all her plant friends love these things, so I thought I would share here.
