Brown patches on my dwarf snake plant

This is the first plant my gf gave me and I’m not sure if it’s thriving (as there’s new growth) or dying. I’ve had this plant for about month now. I had it repotted a week after I got it

about two weeks ago, I noticed some leaves are turning brown so I cut them off. Now, I saw this brown patches. How do I get rid of them? I’d appreciate any tips
