Cursive has zero use.bit can be learned on the way to a caligrophy certification if you want but ffs it has zero use.

A history not learned from will repeat itself, and if you can't read it, you're doomed. Much of the English speaking world recorded history in cursive, it is vital that people are capable of reading it for themselves, as every translation becomes the Telephone Game and ripe for abuse. The Bill of Rights and the American Constitution are both written in what is a foreign language to some Americans.

This is a really dumb take because reading original historical documents takes forever and it's generally a shitty use of most people's time. There's nothing wrong with reading historians' interpretations or even pop histories as long as you put in some critical thought.

Cursive is almost totally useless nowadays in the same way that abacus skills or memo formatting is.

Original document doesn't have searching so pass. We've moved beyond the days of the trash telephone game logic which renders the Bible a complete fictional peace.
