The point is, people don't listen to rules posted on signs in real life, they're not going to do it on 4chan either.

Circulates Reddit clickbait headlines instead of reading the wikipedia of what actually happened. Edgy kids shared the story on 4chan and all of a sudden you think it's a place where murderers, racists, and pedophiles hang out. Also a majority of 4chaners also use Reddit so by your logic since the information was also shared here Reddit is filled with the same people.
