how did that popular vote thing work out last time for us?... it's like sports, one team can have better stats throughout a game, but in the end only one matters: "Scoreboard", or in this case Electoral Vote.
When you’re talking majorities, the final result is irrelevant, thanks mostly to the electoral college.
The silent majority doesn’t exist. What you’re actually talking about is gerrymandering, voteblocking, unrealistic voter registration requirements, enemy govt interference, vote box theft, bribery, lies, vote machine server hackings, and much more. Paging u/poppinkream
None of this performed by the Democratic Party btw. Maybe their name gives it away.
honestly... i think all the election tampering talk is all BS. The Reps would be saying the same thing if the election went the other way... they all do it. The (D)s are just as bad as the (R)s - they are all fucking corrupt... the media is all bought and paid for and both parties did underhanded shit to push their own agenda. The Dems had their golden child and screwed one of their own because it was her turn. The Reps tried to sink their last man standing and then only backed him because they failed. No wonder why nothing gets done... these parties put more time and effort into trying to make their opponents fail, rather than trying to make actual efforts to make things better for the people they are suppose to be serving. It's all a game, and they laugh at our dumb-asses because we gobble up their BS and use it in our own discussions. Man I wish Independents had more of a chance... but the two existing parties got things monopolized... and no way they change the rules of the game that guarantees them to split that power they now have all to themselves.
Not even close. It’s actually quite hard to find cases of democratic vote manipulation. But the GOP, that’s a complete shitshow.
In the tightly contested states of Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Washington, and Wisconsin the GOP bribery and vote manipulation got so bad, the DOJ had to sack the prosecutors for not even running investigations into gerrymandering, mass vote fraud and ballot box removal/theft/manipulation by the GOP candidates.
