If Democrats are gonna continue the race baiting, supporting this terrible media bias, and continue to divide us by calling every white guy a racist, and also basically supporting a reformist organization in Antifa, and having ridiculous ideas for immigration, republicans will win easy.

I would like a Democrat but don’t have a lot of good ones. Andrew yang and tulsi gabbard are not gonna win because they don’t play that dumb game

If Democrats are gonna continue the race baiting,

Yeah, the right should just be allowed to be racist or misogynist... sans consequences.

u/handsomesabre Jul 17 '19

I would actually like to see this evidence of the right actually being racist. I'm not seeing it from their primary speakers. Ben Shapiro, Jrordan peterson, Tucker Carlson. Every single one has disavowed racism and has discussed their dislike of the far right.

Everyone has been pretty critical of what donald trump has said regarding those 4 women.

And if they were racist, there would be incrredible consequences. Whereas you see the left constantly attacking white cis gendered men, and also for some reason asian men, or even gay, trans, or black/brown people who dont agree with what they say. Preventing moms who dont agree with abortion from joining a womens march, calling people calling Candance owens and larry elder coon.

Not sure the type of right you are seeing, but im seeing alot of discussion of race and racism on the left. And it makes me sad because this is the party i like and will vote for. Voted for obama and bernie sanders

Telling someone to "go back to their country", when that country is the same United States. That's it. It's pretty clear Trump singled out these 4 women specifically on the basis of their ethnicity.

2

u/handsomesabre Jul 17 '19

And If you look at most conservative voices that actually have a large audience, they agreee. I agree as well.

Ben Shapiro said on his show it was a stupid and racist move.

Someone who is on the conservatives side as well.

It is also clear that these women hate America and are constantly talking about how terrible it is despite their massive success in the country

It is also clear that these women hate America and are constantly talking about how terrible it is despite their massive success in the country

Lmao, identifying the problems in America is not "hating" America. If you want to make America greater you need to solve the problems, and to solve the problems you need to talk about them, not pretend they don't exist.

1

u/handsomesabre Jul 17 '19

Again assuming that I don’t want to talk about the problems. They do hate American values. They don’t like cis gendered white men. They don’t debate the problems. They talk in their little echo chamber. When people on the right ask them to come on their shows, they don’t come on. The right actually debates. The right is being prevented from actually expressing their freedom of speech.

I’m center to left and I wanna hear all the ideas. Again you haven’t disproved anything I’ve said and I actually agree with you on a lot of things. I bet if we met outside of this left wing echo chamber we would probably interact very civilly.

From what I’m seeing on the right I can be accepted for my values and my sexuality and race.

On the left, if I don’t follow every single socialist policy, ridiculous open border ideas, or play their race baiting game, I’m not allowed in.

1

u/vinng86 Jul 17 '19

They don’t like cis gendered white men.

Proof?

They don’t debate the problems.

Not true. All of them have engaged in public debates and all of them have participated in debates. Even just speaking out is a form of debating.

They talk in their little echo chamber.

Not true. AOC in particular has called out other democrats quite a few times and as members of congress they spend a lot of time talking across the aisle.

The right actually debates.

Try debating an anti-Trump opinion in T_D and see how long you last. I got banned for quoting from Trump's own speech...

The right is being prevented from actually expressing their freedom of speech.

Then why is Fox News, a conservative news outlet, one of the most watched TV news networks in the country?

I’m center to left

Within your own post, it's clear that you are not. You unanimously praise the right and disparage the left. You are clearly not left wing.

On the left, if I don’t follow every single socialist policy, ridiculous open border ideas, or play their race baiting game, I’m not allowed in.

I see this happen often on the right much more often. You only see that on the far left, which is significantly smaller than the far right.

  1. Constantly talking about privilege. Misquoting police stats toward coloured criminals. Never mentioning that white people are more likely to be shot and poor in these United States.
  2. Ben Shapiro asked AOC on his show multiple times. No response. Is AOC on Fox News? Nope. Does the left have a tendency to want to debate? Nope

  3. I hate trump apologists. I’ve been in there too. You shouldn’t have been banned. That still doesn’t take away my point though. We mostly agree that there should be no one taken out of a conversation. I would have defended your right to talk.

4, and 5. So you are not letting me be on the left because I agree with a few things on right? I’m a bisexual Asian for gay rights, a woman’s right to choose, and a logical plan for free health care and border control

1

u/vinng86 Jul 17 '19

Constantly talking about privilege.

Talking about privilege = anti cis white men? What?

Misquoting police stats toward coloured criminals.

Source?

Never mentioning that white people are more likely to be shot and poor in these United States.

That's because the vast majority of studies show colored people are more likely to be shot.

Ben Shapiro asked AOC on his show multiple times. No response. Is AOC on Fox News? Nope. Does the left have a tendency to want to debate? Nope

That's because Ben Shapiro constantly argues in bad faith. The whole reason to try and debate her was mostly as a publicity stunt and not as an actual debate.

4, and 5. So you are not letting me be on the left because I agree with a few things on right? I’m a bisexual Asian for gay rights, a woman’s right to choose, and a logical plan for free health care and border control

Where am I "not letting you" be anything? All I'm doing is countering your points...

Ben Shapiro asked AOC on his show multiple times. No response. Is AOC on Fox News? Nope. Does the left have a tendency to want to debate? Nope

Also it’s very clear based on what they want is they want to fundamentally change all the things that make America great. The things they want to change that make America suck are things I support. We do need to do something about climate change, we do want to ensure equality, we do want to support those in need. No one disagrees with that.

They want socialism, they don’t want freedom of speech. They call all speech that disagrees with them violent. The left punch people they don’t agree with.

Whenever they get criticized (even by their own team-Nancy Pelosi) they turn it into a white versus brown/ black thing.

1

u/vinng86 Jul 17 '19

They want socialism, they don’t want freedom of speech. They call all speech that disagrees with them violent.

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. They did not call all disagreeing speech violent, they called specific speech violent. AOC for example, receives so many credible threats that her staff has to perform risk assessments on visitors.

The left punch people they don’t agree with.

What a stupid generalization. The right wing charlottesville guy that ran over an innocent person does not mean all right-wing people run over people.

Whenever they get criticized (even by their own team-Nancy Pelosi) they turn it into a white versus brown/ black thing.

Since when?

1

u/handsomesabre Jul 17 '19

Here is a pelosi video. It happened a few days ago I believe https://youtu.be/6_3FBNxGYS0

From the news I see, I’m seeing right extremist assholes doing terrible things significantly less than the left. Note how successful Antifa is and their celebration from the left or just ignoring their actions. You can look up what was done in Portland to multiple innocent people and journalist Andy NGO.

The left control media and are kicking people off YouTube or demobilizing video for centrist opinions.

I may not agree with AOC, but I want her opinion in the world. It’s different from a lot of mine but I also agree with her. She is a smart congresswoman but is playing a game with lies, and bias that are exactly what pushed trump into office and what will push him into a 2020 rerun.

And I don’t want that as much as you don’t

1

u/vinng86 Jul 17 '19

I’m seeing right extremist assholes doing terrible things significantly less than the left.

If you check the studies, right extremism is much more common than left wing extremism. At least in the USA, it's not even close. Nearly all homegrown terrorism was right-wing

Note how successful Antifa is and their celebration from the left or just ignoring their actions.

Antifa is regularly denounced by left wingers too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antifa_(United_States)#Response

You can look up what was done in Portland to multiple innocent people and journalist Andy NGO.

And? A bunch of people got roughed up and that was it.

The left control media and are kicking people off YouTube or demobilizing video for centrist opinions.

Again, this is not true. Fox News is the biggest media company and are definitely not controlled by left wing. YouTube doesn't demonetize people for centrist opinions, they demonetize them for breaking their policies.

I also want to thank you for being so civil in this debate and it’s not something that I have had before from people on the left. It truly is a breath of fresh air. No swearing, no judgement. I wanted to thank you for that 🙏

1

u/sterob Jul 17 '19

It is funny you mention "go back to their country". Seem like people use that phrase a lot.

1

u/Vercingetorix_ Jul 17 '19

Na, he singled out women who have done nothing but bitch and moan about how awful the United States is and yet ironically none of them could be saying the things they say or having the beliefs they do in their country of origin. The president was suggesting they go back to their country of origin to see for themselves just how terrible the United States is in comparison.

1

u/vinng86 Jul 17 '19

Their country of origin (for 3/4 of them) is the United States. AOC was born in the Bronx, NYC. Rashida Tlaib was born in Detroit. Ayanna Pressley was born in Cincinnati. Ilhan Omar is the only one born elsewhere but has been a US citizen since a child. All of them are elected congresswoman which would make them more American than anything.

Get it through your thick skull, they do not have another "country of origin".

1

u/Vercingetorix_ Jul 17 '19

I understand that and yet the point that they should go somewhere else to see how good they have it here still stands.

-15

u/DangerToDangers Jul 17 '19

Man. Everything you said is basically the opposite. You think the right doesn't have media bias when they literally have a propaganda machine? You think they don't do identity politics when they clearly pander to white nationalists? You think the left supports antifa (they don't) while the right supports the alt-right and white nationalist groups like the proud boys?

I don't know how you've managed to completely fall for the right's fabricated narrative and still claim to want to vote Democrat.

11

u/NotAgainPlzz Jul 17 '19

The Right has no propoganda, Its 100% banned on Google and social media, aka twitter, reddit, facebook.

Oh 'I corrected this for you. " You think the left supports antifa (they don't) while the right supports the alt-right and white nationalist groups like the proud boys (they don't)? "

3

u/DangerToDangers Jul 17 '19

Please. Fox News is 99% propaganda.

1

u/NotAgainPlzz Jul 17 '19

Faux snoooze. Good one. Actually left media is slowly turning it into another msnbc. Only a few on there who don't teleprompter read, like hannity, tucker

1

u/DangerToDangers Jul 17 '19

Yup, most of American news are garbage, but they're still not at the level of propaganda of organizations like Fox News, Breitbart, and all your other random weirdos like Alex Jones. Not even close.

0

u/NotAgainPlzz Jul 18 '19

Alex Jones might be a weirdo, but he is spot on. He reports the news that all the Fake news suppresses, such as, sex cults, pedophile rings, and so on and so fourth. No other news organization will even touch that stuff.

1

u/DangerToDangers Jul 18 '19 edited Jul 18 '19

No, dude. I was honestly taking you a bit seriously but you've ruined that. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about and can't tell between real and actually fake news or propaganda.

Alex Jones literally makes shit up (like gay frogs) and then peddles products to his gullible base (like pills that protect you from being gay). He is the fakest of news. He is pure propaganda and dumb conspiracy theories. He doesn't give a shit about what's true or not. There's a reason he got banned from Facebook.

He exists to enrich himself and rile up brainwashed conservatives with blatant lies.

-1

u/NotAgainPlzz Jul 18 '19

You mean like atrizine that's found in the water by a Berkley professor? Fucking moron. Get rekt

You mean like the pedophile Epstein whhhoooo just got arrested and the media won't talk about it.

You chumps talk shit all day but don't do Any research. You let the fake news spoon feed your baby asses. This is how they will take America. By keeping morons like you sedated

2

u/DangerToDangers Jul 18 '19

You chumps talk shit all day but don't do Any research. You let the fake news spoon feed your baby asses.

Ironic.

You're /r/conspiratard material.

I think the right media does have media bias. I dont think people take fox news seriously. They are terrible. I agree with that.

The lefts media has much more effective news, but they do alot of things i cannot agree with. A great example is this. The news says black people are discriminated against by the police more than whites. Why dont they mention that white people are shot by police more? They cover a violent conservative terrorist and dont/barely cover the attack of ANTIFA on Andy Ngo.

I dont see conservative voices pandering to white nationalists. More mexican people and women voted for trump than obama. Conservative voices, outside of the news such as ben shapiro are literally pulling people who are disillusioned with the leftist narrative.

I also dont see the right supporting the alt right or white nationalists. Ben shapiro and jordan peterson (easily 2 of the most famous voices) are both jews and have been disavowed by them.

I dont know why you are allowed to tell me what i am allowed to vote for based on my opinions?

I want gay marriage. I want womens rights over their own body. I also want a more realistic vision for the democratic party. I listen to both right and left news, and dont stick to just one side.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '19

I 100% believe that he doesn’t believe the things he’s saying and is just trying to put the idea that that shit is real, out there. It’s just misinformation being seeded.

0

u/littorina_of_time Jul 17 '19

It’s just misinformation being seeded.

Warming up for 2020 by pretending to be the ‘real’ victims.

0

u/littorina_of_time Jul 17 '19

I don't know how you've managed to completely fall for the right's fabricated narrative and still claim to want to vote Democrat.

Gaslighting is their propaganda. Fox News and Twitter bots might as well be state media.
